An MoU was signed by Ms. Prashasti Pareek, IAS , Managing Director ,GLPC and Ms. Bhoomi Shah, Dy. General Manager, Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) to establish a Mangalam Canteen at the Apparel Park Depot, Gomtipur, Ahmedabad, to be managed by women from Self Help Groups (SHGs).

This partnership marks another step towards strengthening women-led entrepreneurship, sustainable livelihoods, and quality services through GLPC.

(GLPC)ના મેનેજિંગ ડિરેક્ટર સુશ્રી પ્રશસ્તિ પારીક , IAS અને ગુજરાત મેટ્રો રેલ કોર્પોરેશન (GMRC)ના ડેપ્યુટી જનરલ મેનેજર સુશ્રી ભૂમિ શાહ દ્વારા અમદાવાદના ગોમતીપુર સ્થિત એપેરલ પાર્ક ડેપો ખાતે મંગલમ કેન્ટીન શરૂ કરવા માટે સમજૂતી કરાર (MoU) પર હસ્તાક્ષર કરવામાં આવ્યા. આ કેન્ટીનનું સંચાલન જીએલપીસી સાથે જોડાયેલા સ્વ-સહાય જૂથ (SHG)ની બહેનો દ્વારા કરવામાં આવશે.

આ ભાગીદારી મહિલા ઉદ્યોગસાહસિકતાને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા, ટકાઉ આજીવિકા સર્જન અને GLPC મારફતે ગુણવત્તાયુક્ત સેવાઓને વધુ મજબૂત બનાવવાની દિશામાં એક મહત્વપૂર્ણ પગલું છે.

Strengthening Financial Inclusion for Women-Led Rural Enterprises

A strategic meeting with Lead Banks from across Gujarat was held at the GLPC Head Office under the chairmanship of Shri Dhananjay Dwivedi, IAS, Principal Secretary, Panchayat, Rural Housing & Rural Development Department, Government of Gujarat, in the presence of Ms. Prashasti Pareek, IAS, Managing Director, GLPC.

The meeting focused on strengthening seamless credit linkage for Self Help Groups (SHGs) by enhancing access to institutional finance, streamlining banking processes, and accelerating timely credit support for women entrepreneurs under DAY-NRLM.

The collaborative deliberations reaffirmed the commitment of the Government of Gujarat, GLPC, and the banking sector to build a stronger financial ecosystem that enables SHGs to grow into sustainable rural enterprises and drives inclusive economic development across the State.

બેઠકમાં રાષ્ટ્રીય ગ્રામીણ આજીવિકા મિશન (DAY-NRLM) હેઠળ કાર્યરત મહિલા સ્વ-સહાય જૂથો (SHGs) માટે સરળ અને ઝડપી ક્રેડિટ લિંકેજ સુનિશ્ચિત કરવા, સંસ્થાકીય નાણાકીય સેવાઓની સુલભતા વધારવા, બેંકિંગ પ્રક્રિયાઓને વધુ સરળ બનાવવા તેમજ મહિલા ઉદ્યોગસાહસિકોને સમયસર ધિરાણ ઉપલબ્ધ કરાવવા અંગે વિસ્તૃત ચર્ચા કરવામાં આવી.

આ બેઠક દ્વારા ગુજરાત સરકાર, GLPC અને બેંકિંગ ક્ષેત્ર વચ્ચેના સહયોગને વધુ મજબૂત બનાવવાની પ્રતિબદ્ધતા વ્યક્ત કરવામાં આવી, જેથી સ્વ-સહાય જૂથો સશક્ત અને ટકાઉ ગ્રામ્ય ઉદ્યોગો તરીકે વિકસી શકે તેમજ રાજ્યમાં ટકાઉ આર્થિક વિકાસને વધુ વેગ મળી શકે.

A stakeholder meeting with premier academic and technical institutions was held at the GLPC Head Office under the chairmanship of Shri Dhananjay Dwivedi, IAS, Principal Secretary, Panchayat, Rural Housing & Rural Development Department, Government of Gujarat, in the presence of Ms. Prashasti Pareek, IAS, Managing Director, GLPC.

The meeting focused on forging partnerships to strengthen women-led Self Help Groups (SHGs) by leveraging institutional expertise in product design, branding, packaging, quality improvement, innovation, enterprise development, market readiness, business mentoring, and scaling rural enterprises.

These collaborations will help bridge the gap between academia and rural entrepreneurship, enabling SHGs to build competitive, market-ready brands, enhance product value, and access wider domestic and global markets.

આ બેઠકનો મુખ્ય હેતુ મહિલા સ્વ-સહાય જૂથો (SHGs)ને વધુ સશક્ત બનાવવા માટે અગ્રણી સંસ્થાઓ સાથે ભાગીદારી સ્થાપવાનો હતો. બેઠક દરમિયાન પ્રોડક્ટ ડિઝાઇન, બ્રાન્ડિંગ, પેકેજિંગ, ગુણવત્તા સુધારણા, નવીનતા, એન્ટરપ્રાઇઝ વિકાસ, વેલ્યુ એડિશન, માર્કેટ રેડીનેસ, બિઝનેસ મેન્ટરિંગ તથા ગ્રામ્ય ઉદ્યોગોના વિસ્તરણ (સ્કેલિંગ) જેવા વિવિધ ક્ષેત્રોમાં સંસ્થાઓની નિષ્ણાત સેવાઓનો લાભ SHGs સુધી પહોંચાડવા અંગે ચર્ચા કરવામાં આવી.

આ પ્રકારની ભાગીદારી દ્વારા શૈક્ષણિક સંસ્થાઓ અને ગ્રામ્ય ઉદ્યોગસાહસિકો વચ્ચેનો સેતુ વધુ મજબૂત બનશે, જેના પરિણામે સ્વ-સહાય જૂથો સ્પર્ધાત્મક અને બજારલક્ષી બ્રાન્ડ તરીકે વિકસશે, પોતાના ઉત્પાદનોનું મૂલ્યવર્ધન કરી શકશે તેમજ દેશ-વિદેશના વિશાળ બજારોમાં પોતાની પહોંચ વધારી શકશે.

A review meeting was held today via Video Conference under the chairmanship of Shri Kunwarji Bavaliya, Hon'ble Cabinet Minister (Rural Development), and Shri Sanjaysinh Mahida, Hon'ble Minister of State (Rural Development), Government of Gujarat, with presence of Commissionerate of Rural Development , GLPC and all District Rural Development Agencies (DRDAs).

The meeting reviewed the progress of key rural development programmes, with a focus on strengthening implementation, empowering SHGs, expanding the Lakhpati Didi initiative, and improving district-level performance across Gujarat.

The dialogue highlighted Gujarat's commitment to empowering rural communities, promoting self-reliance, and accelerating inclusive growth through effective implementation of rural development initiatives.

As part of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference in Vadodara, Ms. Prashasti Pareek, IAS, Managing Director, GLPC, interacted with Self Help Groups (SHGs) and other stakeholders to discuss women-led entrepreneurship, sustainable livelihoods, and rural development. During the interaction, she distributed financial assistance cheques to Lakhpati Didis, reinforcing GLPC's commitment to empowering rural women and strengthening self-reliant village economies.

The conference also emphasized creating sustainable livelihood opportunities, empowering rural women, and building resilient village economies through collaborative action.

At the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference, Vadodara, under the Lakhpati Didi initiative, financial assistance cheques were distributed to Self Help Groups (SHGs) by Hon’ble Union Minister Sh Manohar Lal Khattar, the Hon'ble Chief Minister- Gujarat and Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister-Gujarat with other council of Ministers, reaffirming the Government of Gujarat's commitment to women-led entrepreneurship, rural livelihoods, and inclusive economic growth.

શાળા પ્રવેશોત્સવ 2026 અંતર્ગત શ્રીમતી પ્રશસ્તિ પારીક, IAS, મેનેજિંગ ડિરેક્ટર, GLPC એ ત્રણ દિવસીય પ્રેરણાદાયી મુલાકાત દરમિયાન મહેસાણા જિલ્લાના કડી તાલુકાના વિવિધ ગામોમાં શિક્ષણ, બાળ પોષણ અને મહિલા સશક્તિકરણ માટે સંવાદ અને સહભાગિતાનો અનોખો સંદેશ આપ્યો.

📍 દિવસ 1 – ઇન્દિરાનગર (થોળ) પ્રાથમિક શાળા, કડી
નવા પ્રવેશિત બાળકોનું સ્વાગત, વિદ્યાર્થીઓ સાથે સંવાદ અને વૃક્ષારોપણ દ્વારા શિક્ષણ અને પર્યાવરણ પ્રત્યેની પ્રતિબદ્ધતા વ્યક્ત કરી.

📍 દિવસ 2 – ઝાલોદા અને અંબલિયારા શાળાઓ
વિદ્યાર્થીઓ, શિક્ષકો અને વાલીઓ સાથે મુલાકાત કરી ગુણવત્તાયુક્ત શિક્ષણ અને શાળા પ્રવેશને પ્રોત્સાહિત કર્યું. મધ્યાહન ભોજન યોજનાની સમીક્ષા પણ કરવામાં આવી.

📍 દિવસ 3 – બાવળુ ગામની સરકારી પ્રાથમિક અને માધ્યમિક શાળા
બાળકોના ઉજ્જવળ ભવિષ્ય માટે શિક્ષણના મજબૂત આધારને વધુ સશક્ત બનાવવાનો સંકલ્પ વ્યક્ત કર્યો.

સ્વ-સહાય જૂથ (SHG) ની બહેનો સાથે આજીવિકા, નાણાકીય સશક્તિકરણ, આવકવૃદ્ધિ અને સરકારની સહાય યોજનાઓ અંગે ચર્ચા કરી, ગ્રામ્ય મહિલાઓના વિકાસને વધુ ગતિ આપવા વિચારવિમર્શ કર્યો.

Beyond welcoming children to schools, Shaala Praveshotsav 2026 also served as an opportunity to engage with the women who are driving change in rural communities.

During her visit to Bavlu village, Ms. Prashasti Pareek, IAS, Managing Director, GLPC, interacted with members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) to discuss financial inclusion, access to credit, livelihood opportunities, and the challenges faced by SHGs. She also deliberated on the various government support mechanisms and initiatives available to strengthen SHGs, enhance income generation, and promote women-led development.

શાળા પ્રવેશોત્સવ 2026 માત્ર બાળકોના શાળાપ્રવેશની ઉજવણી પૂરતો સીમિત નથી, પરંતુ ગ્રામ્ય વિકાસમાં મહત્વની ભૂમિકા ભજવતી મહિલાઓ સાથે સંવાદ અને સશક્તિકરણનો પણ એક અવસર છે.

બાવળુ ગામની મુલાકાત દરમિયાન શ્રીમતી પ્રશસ્તિ પારીક, IAS, મેનેજિંગ ડિરેક્ટર, GLPC એ સ્વ-સહાય જૂથ (SHG) ની બહેનો સાથે સંવાદ સાધ્યો. ચર્ચા દરમિયાન નાણાકીય સહાય , બેંક લિંકેજ, આજીવિકા તકો, SHG ને પડતા પડકારો તેમજ સરકાર દ્વારા ઉપલબ્ધ વિવિધ સહાય અને યોજનાઓ અંગે વિસ્તૃત ચર્ચા કરવામાં આવી. SHG બહેનોની આવકમાં વધારો થાય અને તેઓ આર્થિક રીતે વધુ સશક્ત બને તે માટેના માર્ગો પર પણ વિચારવિમર્શ કરવામાં આવ્યો.

Young minds, new beginnings, and a shared commitment to education.

During Shaala Praveshotsav 2026, Ms. Prashasti Pareek, IAS, Managing Director, GLPC, visited Government Secondary School and Primary School, Bavlu, where she interacted with students, teachers, and parents. The visit celebrated the enthusiasm of newly enrolled children and reinforced the importance of ensuring every child has access to quality education and opportunities to thrive.

Together, we continue to strengthen the foundation for a brighter and more empowered future.

નવા સપનાઓ, નવા પગલાં અને શિક્ષણ પ્રત્યેની સામૂહિક પ્રતિબદ્ધતા.

શાળા પ્રવેશોત્સવ 2026 અંતર્ગત શ્રીમતી પ્રશસ્તિ પારીક, IAS, મેનેજિંગ ડિરેક્ટરશ્રી, GLPC એ બાવળુ ગામ, કડી તાલુકાની સરકારી પ્રાથમિક અને માધ્યમિક શાળાની મુલાકાત લીધી. તેમણે વિદ્યાર્થીઓ, શિક્ષકો અને વાલીઓ સાથે સંવાદ સાધ્યો તેમજ નવા પ્રવેશિત બાળકોને શુભેચ્છાઓ પાઠવી. આ પ્રસંગે દરેક બાળક સુધી ગુણવત્તાયુક્ત શિક્ષણ પહોંચે અને તેઓ ઉજ્જવળ ભવિષ્યનું નિર્માણ કરી શકે તે માટેના સંકલ્પને વધુ મજબૂત બનાવવામાં આવ્યો.
