The session witnessed participation from 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀, 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, providing a platform to discuss 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗦𝗚 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, and practical approaches for integrating ESG into organizational processes.

The programme facilitated meaningful 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲, 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀-𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, and strengthened collaboration between 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗮 for advancing sustainable and resilient industrial development.

The programme focused on strengthening understanding of the 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬, data-driven drought assessment methodologies, and the application of 𝗞𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗛𝗜-𝗗𝗦𝗦 for informed decision-making and timely response.

Expert sessions were delivered by 𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗔𝗖 (𝗜𝗦𝗥𝗢), the 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘁, 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, and 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗡𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗗𝘂𝗯𝗲𝘆, 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝘆. 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, 𝗦𝗘𝗢𝗖, providing valuable insights into drought monitoring, climate-informed planning, and field-level implementation.

The programme brought together 𝗣𝗖𝗥 𝗩𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 from across the state and focused on practical training in 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆, 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲, 𝗖𝗕𝗥𝗡 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘂𝗺𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲, 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.

Through 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀-𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁-𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, the initiative enhanced the preparedness, coordination, and response capabilities of police personnel serving as critical first responders during emergencies and disasters.

𝗚𝗜𝗗𝗠 successfully conducted a 𝘁𝘄𝗼-𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲 ( 04 -05 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲) on “𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴”, aimed at strengthening climate-resilient infrastructure and reducing heat-related risks.

The programme brought together 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀, 𝘂𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀, focusing on 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘄𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘀, 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲-𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻, 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘁-𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀.

Through 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁-𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀-𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, the programme strengthened participants’ capacity to integrate 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 and 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 into housing and urban development practices.

𝗚𝗜𝗗𝗠 successfully conducted a 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝟯 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 (𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹–𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲) on “𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁”, aimed at strengthening gender-responsive disaster resilience.

The programme brought together 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻𝘄𝗮𝗱𝗶 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗜𝗖𝗗𝗦 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗖𝗗 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, empowering them with knowledge and practical skills in 𝗗𝗥𝗠, 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 through interactive sessions and hands-on exercises.

Focused on 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗗𝗥𝗠, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻’𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, the initiative aimed to enable participants to act as 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹, contributing to safer and more resilient communities.
