સ્વચ્છ સર્વેક્ષણ અને નિર્મળ ગુજરાત 2.0 અંતર્ગત રાજકોટ મ્યુનિસિપલ કોર્પોરેશન દ્વારા પ્રતિબંધિત પ્લાસ્ટિકના ઉપયોગ સામે વિશેષ ઝુંબેશ હાથ ધરવામાં આવી. વેપારીઓ અને નાગરિકોને પ્રતિબંધિત પ્લાસ્ટિકના ઉપયોગથી થતા નુકસાન અંગે માહિતગાર કરવામાં આવ્યા તેમજ સ્વચ્છતાના નિયમોનું પાલન કરવા અપીલ કરવામાં આવી.
ચાલો, સિંગલ યુઝ પ્લાસ્ટિકને ના કહીએ અને સ્વચ્છ, હરિત તથા પ્લાસ્ટિક મુક્ત શહેરના નિર્માણમાં સહભાગી બનીએ.

प्रधानमंत्री श्री Narendra Modi जी के सूरत आगमन पूर्व, शहर को स्वच्छ, सुंदर और पर्यावरण के प्रति जागरूक बनाने के उद्देश्य से एक विशेष स्वच्छता अभियान चलाया गया।
केन्द्रीय मंत्री श्री सी. आर. पाटील जी के नेतृत्व में शहरभर के 800+ स्थानों पर सफाई कार्य किया गया तथा 26 किलोमीटर लंबे मार्ग पर विशेष स्वच्छता अभियान आयोजित किया गया।
इस अभियान में बड़ी संख्या में नागरिकों ने भी सहभागिता निभाई और स्वच्छ, हरित एवं विकसित सूरत के संकल्प को और मजबूत किया।
स्वच्छता सिर्फ अभियान नहीं, विकसित भारत की पहचान है।
