It is a well known tourist place, situated on the mountains of Bankeybazar.During the dugging work, the workers found many idols of god & goddess under the ground.They alsofound many pillars. But the most surprising thing that they found was a pond, which is now very famous for "chatt puja".After making a collection of the idols, it was decided to make temples. And once the decision comes to becom
e true and the temples were made.One temple is of God Shiva and another one is of God Surya.The idols which were found during dugging were shifted in these temples.People from different places come here and visit this place.There is a very old belief about this place.It is believed that whatever wish the people will grant here will become true.Once I had visited this place.I found that there are well organised stairs also which were made after the decision of a B.D.O. of the block of Bankeybazar.During chatt puja the whole environment was decorated with beautiful lightning which I enjoyed a lot.There was a huge crowd of people during puja.Every year in the month of "sawan',a fair is organised in this place,which is full of fun & excitement.This fair is organised for a whole month. After this great tourist place there comes two rivers named "marawar" & "morhar' in the south.There are many villages in the banks of river which are named as Anjan, Juri, Nawadih, Bhaluhar, Bankeybazar, Tandva, Jondhi, Roridih, Pananiya, etc.
