New COVID-19 related features on GeM
The following interventions have been made by GeM in connection with the fight against COVID-19:
1. The procurement cycle shortened for COVID-19 related items: Bid Cycle for COVID-19 related categories has been reduced to 3 days from the existing 10 days. Buyers would also be able to reduce the Delivery Period for such items to 2 days considering the time-critical nature of the items.
2. Local filter for purchase up to ₹5 lakhs enabled: Buyer will now be able to filter local sellers for purchases up to ₹5 lakhs to enable faster delivery of goods during COVID-19.
3. Shorter duration bids (3 days) for Services.
4. New business rule to stock out sellers who do not update stock within 48 hours of notification for specific categories.
5. The new business rule for controlling price increase.
Priority product and brand approval for COVID-19 related categories.
6. Allowing delivery period extension 30 days beyond expiry of the original delivery period.
7. New webpage for tracking COVID-19 categories and number of sellers.
8. Buyers would now be able to filter sellers based on Lead Time input for purchases below 5 Lacs ( L1 purchase)

जेम पर कोविड - 19 संबंधित नई विशेषताएं
कोविड - 19 के विरुद्ध लड़ाई के संबंध में जेम द्वारा निम्नलिखित हस्तक्षेप किए गए हैं:
1.कोविड - 19 संबंधित वस्तुओं के लिए खरीद चक्र घट गया हैं : कोविड - 19 संबंधित श्रेणियों के लिए बोली चक्र को मौजूदा 10 दिनों से घटाकर 3 दिन कर दिया गया है। खरीदार ऐसी वस्तुओं के लिए वितरण अवधि को कम करने में सक्षम होंगे जो वस्तुओं की समय-महत्वपूर्ण प्रकृति को देखते हुए 2 दिनों के लिए होगी।
2.5 लाख तक की खरीद के लिए लोकल फ़िल्टर को सक्षम किया गया है: खरीदार अब कोविड - 19 के दौरान सामानों के तेजी से वितरण को सक्षम करने के लिए 5 लाख तक की खरीद के लिए स्थानीय विक्रेताओं को फ़िल्टर करने में सक्षम होगा।
3.सेवाओं के लिए कम अवधि की बोलियाँ (3 दिन)।
4.विशिष्ट श्रेणियों के लिए अधिसूचना के 48 घंटों के अन्दर स्टॉक को अद्यतन नहीं करने वाले स्टॉक आउट विक्रेताओं के लिए नया व्यापार नियम।
5.मूल्य वृद्धि नियंत्रण करने के लिए नया व्यापार नियम।
6.कोविड - 19 संबंधित श्रेणियों के लिए प्राथमिकता उत्पाद और ब्रांड अनुमोदन।
7.मूल वितरण अवधि की समाप्ति के अलावा डिलीवरी अवधि में 30 दिन का विस्तार करना।
8. कोविड - 19 श्रेणियों और विक्रेताओं की संख्या पर नज़र बनाए रखने के लिए नया वेबपेज।
9. क्रेता अब 5 लाख (L1 खरीद) से नीचे की खरीद के लिए समय-सीमा इनपुट के आधार पर विक्रेताओं को फ़िल्टर करने में सक्षम होंगे ।
