Amarender Singh, who has recently requested Farmers not to agitate in Punjab and go to Delhi? It is agreed that Stub burning is not the only reason for Pollution and Smog during winter in Delhi /NCR, but it is an important reason and cannot be ignored. The people staying in Dehi/NCR , in average loose ten valuable years of their lives due to Pollution, according to a recent study.
The most surprising aspect of problem is inaction by Central Govt. It is irony that the Govt., that has taken up an ambitious plan of producing more than 400 Giga Watt of renewable energy by 2030 to combat Pollution& Climate Change, is silent on the issue of Stub burning.
It seems powerful kisan lobby is holding the country to ramson.
