On the occasion of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2026, an awareness programme and rally were organized at Bardamal High School, Goalpara, in collaboration with the District Administration, Goalpara. The programme aimed to create awareness among students and the community about the harmful effects of drug abuse, promote a healthy and drug-free lifestyle, and encourage collective responsibility in preventing substance abuse.

As part of the programme, participants took the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) Pledge, followed by a signature campaign reaffirming their commitment to building a drug-free society. The awareness rally further spread the message of saying "No to Drugs" and promoting a healthier, safer, and addiction-free future.
