Sardarnagar

This postcard was sent by legendary Indian badminton champion Syed Modi to his elder brother, Syed Hussain Haider (Pyare), in Sardar Nagar.

What makes it truly remarkable is the address. In those days, it didn’t require elaborate directions or pin codes. Just the name of the recipient and the place were enough. The postman knew exactly where to deliver it.

Such was the fame of Syed Modi, and the identity of Sardar Nagar that an address itself spoke volumes.

A beautiful reminder of an era when people, places, and relationships were so deeply rooted that even a simple postcard became a timeless piece of history.

On the occasion of 32nd death anniversary of late SYED MODI we would like to share a piece of history, letter of syed modi to his elder brother Syed Hussain haider "PYARE"

While Sardarnagar has been known for its glory, unfortunately, it is currently facing challenging times. Despite this, the area still possesses inherent strength that can be revitalized with a positive initiative. I kindly request all friends on this page to share prominent pictures related to Sardarnagar with me on my mobile number 7409999208 so that it can publish on page.
