Legal Aid Society, JEMTEC School of Law together with Debate and Discussion Society organised a Client Counselling competition on the occasion of the "National Legal Aid Day"
More than 60+ Teams and 200+ students participated in the competition and gave their best participation throughout.
We wish the best to the winners and to all the participants for their efforts in making this event a success.
A special thanks to the whole organising team for the continuous hard work to make this event happen.

Legal Aid Society, JEMTEC School of Law in Collaboration with Migration and Asylum Project (An Initiative by ARA Trust) conducted a Training session for our student members on "Role of para-legal volunteer in community intervention" on 1st November,2022.
During the session, The students were educated about NALSA, it's working and PLVs schemes.
We also discussed the legal aid provisions under law, practical approach towards ground work and the art of Counseling your client.
The session had a good discussion on the aspects of labour law with 3 detailed case studies and active participation of members.
Overall, It was an interactive session and we would like to thank the M.A.P. Team for conducting such an educating session for our student members.
We hope to have more collaborations in the future with the team and our members.
