Our very first Founder's Day celebration! The staff and students of our Shiksha Education Centers at Mohyal Colony and Wazirabad put their best foot forward to showcase the school's educational and extra curricular activities. A science exhibition, children's art on the walls and an absolutely spectacular display of dance and yoga followed. We also had a prize distribution for the students and teachers and recognised with deep gratitude our donors and supporters.

The maiden science fair at our Mohyal Colony Education Centre gave Shiksha students of classes 6-8 the opportunity to experience the practices of science for themselves. The working models were made with low cost material. But their value in terms of showcasing the students confidence, innovation, knowledge and technical skills was immeasurable.
Besides the models created, what was on display was great team work as our students collaborated in teams to explore and express their creative scientific ideas in the form of working models.

Our students have to be able to face up to every challenge. Not just today, but in the world of tomorrow too. And what better way than to make them experience what is happening around them. Yesterday 60 Shiksha students visited Smile International Film Festival for Children and Youth (SIFFCY) at Siri Fort Auditorium, New Delhi. A fun outing where they learnt so much.

We have always believed in providing a well rounded education where mental and physical well-being of our students is as important as classroom teaching. Our latest initiatives include regular yoga classes for our students, which is also in line with NEP 2020 requirements. Here you can see Ms Ayesha, a trained yoga instructor, doing yoga alongside our Wazirabad school students. Ms. Ayesha has volunteered to take Yoga sessions in both Shiksha Education Centres.
