🗳️ BLOs to Conduct Door-to-Door Visits for Special Intensive Revision Campaign; Citizens Urged to Cooperate

Additional Deputy Commissioner Shri Sonu Bhatt chaired a review meeting with EROs and AEROs regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 Campaign and directed officials to ensure its implementation with complete transparency, accuracy, and seriousness.

✅ Electoral rolls to be made accurate and error-free
✅ Names of deceased, shifted, and ineligible voters to be removed
✅ Eligible youth attaining 18 years of age by July 1, 2026, to be added to the voter list
✅ Training of officials from June 5–15, 2026
✅ BLOs to conduct door-to-door surveys from June 15–July 14, 2026

ADC Shri Sonu Bhatt emphasized that an accurate electoral roll is the foundation of a strong democracy and directed all EROs and AEROs to regularly monitor the campaign to ensure error-free implementation.

He appealed to citizens, RWAs, and residents to cooperate with BLOs during household visits by providing correct information and helping identify deceased, shifted, or ineligible voters. Citizens are also encouraged to ensure that all eligible young voters are enrolled in the electoral roll.

The district administration remains committed to conducting the Special Intensive Revision Campaign in a fair, transparent, and systematic manner as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India.

Women's Stall Launched at Gurugram Bus Stand: A New Flight for Women Empowerment

In a major step towards women’s economic empowerment and self-reliance, a women-led stall has been inaugurated at Gurugram Bus Stand under the Haryana State Rural Livelihood Mission (HSRLM).

The stall will be operated by Ms. Saroj and Ms. Pavitra, members of the Shankar Self-Help Group from Shankar Ki Dhani village, creating new opportunities for rural women to become financially independent through self-employment.

The stall was inaugurated by Shri Sumit Kumar, CEO, Zila Parishad Gurugram, who appreciated the efforts of the Self-Help Group members and emphasized that such initiatives not only improve services for commuters but also boost women's confidence and income generation.

The event was attended by officials of the Rural Livelihood Mission, members of the "Nari Shakti" Cluster Level Federation (CLF), and women associated with Self-Help Groups.

🗳️ SDM Pataudi Holds Press Conference on Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Campaign-2026

No eligible citizen will be left out of the voter list: SDM Shri Dinesh Luhach

The Election Commission of India is launching a comprehensive Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Programme-2026 to ensure inclusion of all eligible voters and removal of ineligible entries from the electoral roll.

✅ Citizens attaining 18 years of age on or before July 1, 2026 can register as voters.

🔹 Training of BLOs, EROs & BLAs: June 5–14, 2026
🔹 Door-to-door voter verification and Enumeration Form collection by BLOs
🔹 Polling Station Rationalization: June 14–26, 2026
🔹 Draft Electoral Roll Publication: July 21, 2026
🔹 Claims & Objections Period: July 21 – September 18, 2026

🏠 BLOs will visit every household at least three times to assist citizens with voter registration, verification, photograph updates, and form submission.

💻 Citizens can also apply online through the Voter Service Portal at voters.eci.gov.in.

📍 Pataudi Assembly Constituency currently has 2,59,696 registered voters, with 62% already mapped with historical electoral data.

SDM Shri Dinesh Luhach appealed to all residents to cooperate with BLOs, verify their electoral details, and submit claims or objections within the prescribed timeline to ensure a clean and accurate voter list.
