Bhutani, IAS (APC & ACS) and was attended by Shri Bhaskar Pegu, IAS (Director of Agriculture), PMFBY officials from Ministry of India, Smt. Kamna R. Sharma (Addl. Commissioner, Credit) and Shri Gajendra Singh (Director, GoI) along with PMU-PMFBY officials.

Under the PMFBY, a remarkable milestone was achieved on 29th July 2023, as 41.10 lakh crop insurance applications were registered in a single day. This exceptional feat comes right after 26.63 lakh registrations were received on 28th July 2023, setting a new record. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all stakeholders for their unwavering support and patience. Also, we thank all the registered farmers for their participation.
