Assam State Excise

On 8th August 2024, at around 11.30 pm, Chirang Excise team intercepted and seized a vehicle laden with 16 cases of Bhutanese beer( Druk 11000 of 650 ml).

A team from Kamrup (M) Excise intercepted and seized a vehicle carrying 350 litres of illicitly distilled liquor at around 9 pm on 8th August, 2024.

Acting on a tip-off, Sonitpur Excise Team intercepted a vehicle laden with liquor meant for sale in Arunachal Pradesh. The team seized 414 BL of IMFL and 780 BL of Beer worth Rs 11,94,000/- (approx)

In a joint operation with SSB team, Udalguri Excise team seized 23 cases of Beer meant for sale in Arunachal Pradesh.

During Naka Checking at Numaligarh Tiniali, Golaghat Excise Team intercepted a truck transporting 930 cases of Arunachali liquor . The said liquor was concealed within cement bags.

Yesterday , Kamrup Metro Excise Team intercepted two vehicles carrying 710 litres of illicit liquor (sulai).

On 15/05/2024, during an excise raid, Biswanath Excise Team seized 20 cases of Simba beer and 5cases of Royale Mansion whisky made for sale in Arunachal Pradesh.

During a raid conducted by Dibrugarh Excise Team , 24 bottles of AC black whisky (375ml), 60 bottles of HeMan 9000 beer(650ml) and 216 bottles of De-natured spirit (500ml) were seized.

On 12/05/2024, during naka checking conducted at Likabali, Dhemaji Excise team seized the following articles alongwith a Nissan magnite vehicle:

1) Mc Dowells no 1 whisky (375 ml) =1 case
2) Iconic whisky (375 ml) = 1 case
3) Goldflow beer (500ml) =3cases
4) Simba beer (500 ml) = 2cases
5) Tuborg beer (500 ml) = 3 cases
6) Godfather beer (650 ml) =3cases
7) Kingfisher beer (500 ml)2cases

(All IMFL & Beer are meant for sale in Arunachal Pradesh).

On 10/05/2024, Kamrup(M) Excise Team intercepted a Tata Nano car at Maligaon and seized 450 lts of illicit liquor.
