A Level-O programme of MTTS Programme is going to be held in the Department of Mathematics, IIT Guwahati during 29 May - 24 June, 2017. About forty students drawn from different parts of the country are going to attend the programme.
The Department has a long association with MTTS and it has hosted the programme more than ten times since 1999. Being the 25th year of its journey, MTTS Programme has been celebrating its Silver Jubilee. The Department looks forward to another successful holding of the programme, and wishes the participants many hours of stimulating, inspiring and enjoyable activities in the programme

The Department of Mathematics, IIT Guwahati offers summer internships to undergraduate and postgraduate students to enable them to work with the mentors who are faculty members of the Department of Mathematics, IIT Guwahati.
Applications are invited from interested students of recognized Colleges/ Universities/ Institutes in India (other than IIT Guwahati) for these internships.
An applicant needs to submit:
1. The online Application Form
2. Forwarding Letter (in the prescribed format) by the Head of the Department/ Institute of his/her present institute
3. Letter of Reference (in the prescribed format) from one of the teachers of his/her present institute familiar with his/her academic performances.
The applicant, if he/she wishes, may submit a Write-up on the Proposed Work for the internship along with the application.
The last date of receipt of completed application at the office of the Department of Mathematics, IIT Guwahati is April 11, 2017
