Observance of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking by NCC Unit, R.G. Baruah College with support from IQAC, R.G. Baruah College dated 24 June 2025

On the occasion, CTO Ms. Tania Tarannam gave a briefing on the effects, causes and consequences of drug abuse with proper precautions and steps with a call to action. The events to be held were discussed during the observance days of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking which include speeches, poster making and enactment of a play by NCC for creating awareness on the aforementioned topic.
Mrinank Debnath, a student of RGBC gave a speech on the same topic discussing the role of students and youth in curbing and getting rid of drug abuse in society. The programme is anticipated to bring knowledge and awareness among the youth.
