New Toilet Facility at Legship Primary Health Sub-Centre
Lower Omchung Ward, Legship
Access to proper sanitation is a basic necessity for public health, hygiene, and human dignity. The Primary Health Sub-Centre (PHSC) at Legship previously had only one toilet facility located inside the building, which was insufficient to meet the needs of patients, visitors, and the community.
Recognizing this infrastructure gap, an additional toilet facility has been constructed outside the PHSC premises with support from the Zilla Panchayat Fund. The new facility will provide greater convenience to patients, visitors, and community members while promoting better hygiene and sanitation practices.
Key Objectives
- Strengthen rural healthcare infrastructure
- Improve sanitation and hygiene facilities at the PHSC
- Provide accessible and convenient facilities for patients and visitors
- Promote public health, cleanliness, and dignity
- Support the overall well-being of the community
This initiative is a step towards creating a cleaner, healthier, and more accessible healthcare environment for the people of Legship and surrounding areas.
Better sanitation builds healthier communities.
