Blessed with vast green meadows, pristine landscapes, majestic mountains and unparalleled natural beauty Bangus Valley is a jewel of Kashmir and a destination cherished by nature lovers, trekkers, photographers and tourists from across the country. Despite its immense tourism potential the valley has remained inaccessible leaving thousands of visitors and local stakeholders hopeful for its reopening.
The reopening of Bangus Valley would not only allow people to experience this magnificent paradise but would also generate significant employment opportunities for local youth through tourism, transport, hospitality, handicrafts and other allied sectors. Hundreds of families in the surrounding areas depend directly or indirectly on tourism for their livelihood.
We sincerely request your kind intervention to facilitate the reopening of Bangus Valley while ensuring the protection and preservation of its fragile ecosystem. Such a step would promote sustainable tourism, strengthen the local economy and further enhance Jammu & Kashmir's image as a premier travel destination.
