The recent renovation and beautification works being carried out at Bramh kund Har Ki Pairi revealed a treasure trove of history. The repairs of ghat stairs leading up to the Ganga threw up a surprise when the stair stone slabs were removed. The stairs beneath have engraved inscriptions from a bygone era. The ASI has been contacted for studying the script, translating the inscription as well as ascertaining the age. The Ganga Sabha has decided to safely conserve and preserve these inscriptions in a bullet proof glass enclosure. After all everyone has a right to see these rare inscriptions of our rich heritage.
