Our Rotary Club has initiated a year-long TB control program from July 2024 to June 2025, providing essential nutrition kits to six TB patients each month at Civil Hospital. This initiative addresses a critical aspect of TB care: nutrition, which plays a significant role in patient recovery. TB patients often face malnutrition, weakening their immune systems and making it harder to combat the disease. By supplying these monthly nutrition kits, we aim to improve patient health outcomes, support their strength and resilience, and contribute to a faster recovery. This program exemplifies our commitment to community health, supporting patients in their journey to recovery and a healthier life.

On World Polio Day, our Rotary Club celebrated with an impactful event at NK Garg Hospital, where we administered polio drops to around 100 children. This day highlights the importance of continued efforts toward a polio-free world. Polio, once a widespread and devastating disease, can be effectively prevented through vaccination. By providing these essential drops, we protect young lives from this crippling illness and contribute to global eradication efforts. This initiative underscores Rotary’s commitment to public health, aiming to raise awareness and support vaccination as the key to a healthier, polio-free future for all.

On 14th October 2024, our Rotary Club held a Vaccination Awareness event for 1-2 year-old children at NK Garg Child Hospital in Bhiwani. This initiative aimed to educate parents and caregivers about the crucial role vaccinations play in safeguarding young children’s health. Vaccinations protect against serious diseases such as measles, mumps, and polio, helping prevent outbreaks and ensuring healthier communities. By raising awareness, we hope to increase immunization rates, promote timely vaccinations, and equip families with accurate information, ensuring their children get the protection they deserve. This effort aligns with our commitment to preventive healthcare and building a healthier future for all.

On 8th October 2024, our Rotary Club organized a free Bone Mineral Density (BMD) Test at Ganpatrai Maternity & General Hospital, supporting community health and preventive care. BMD tests are essential for assessing bone health, particularly in identifying osteoporosis and the risk of fractures. By offering these tests free of charge, we aimed to increase awareness of bone health, enabling early detection of potential issues. Early intervention can lead to better management of bone-related conditions, reducing the risk of serious complications and improving overall quality of life for individuals in our community. This initiative reinforces our commitment to preventive healthcare and community wellness.
