🚧55th National Safety Week Celebration at Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited 🚧

The 55th National Safety Week (4th – 10th March 2026) was observed at Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited with the theme “Engage, Educate & Empower People to Enhance Safety.”

The programme was conducted in the presence of:

along with other officials of HCSL, safety personnel, and all contractors & subcontractors.

A proud milestone for Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited as we successfully marked the Keel Laying and Coin Ceremony of the 80 Pax River Cruise Vessel – RCV-1 on December 15 2025.

The ceremony was graciously attended by Rathendra Raman, IRTS, Chairman, Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata, Raj Singh, Chairman, Antara Cruises, and Sreejith K Narayanan, CEO, HCSL, Arun Kumar Dash COO HCSL along with other distinguished guests.

The vessel is being constructed at Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited under the classification of the Indian Register of Shipping, reflecting our continued commitment to quality shipbuilding and excellence in inland water transport.

A significant step forward in strengthening river cruise infrastructure in India.
