مانو کے طالب علم کو امریکی یونیورسٹی میں 3 کروڑ کی فیلوشپ
حیدرآباد، 5 فروری (پریس نوٹ) مولانا آزاد نیشنل اردو یونیورسٹی ، شعبۂ مینجمنٹ و کامرس کے سابق طالب علم الطاف حسین کو امریکی ریاست ورجینیا کی ولیم اینڈ میری یونیورسٹی میں پی ایچ ڈی کے لیے فیلو شپ کے لیے منتخب کرلیا گیا۔اس فیلوشپ کے تحت الطاف حسین کو تعلیم اور تحقیق کے علاوہ اقامتی اور سفری اخراجات بھی دیئے جارہے ہیں۔الطاف حسین نے 2022-24 میں اردو یونیورسٹی کے شعبۂ مینجمنٹ و کامرس سے ایم کام کیا تھا۔ اب انہیں والٹر جے زیبل گریجویٹ امریکن فیلوشپ سے نوازا گیا۔ جس کے تحت تقریباً 3 کروڑ روپئے کی فیلوشپ ملے گی۔ وہ اس تاریخی ادارے میں اکنامک اینتھروپالوجی میں ڈاکٹریٹ کے لیے تحقیق کریں گے۔ ولیم اینڈ میری کا شمار امریکہ کی دوسری قدیم ترین یونیورسٹی ہے۔
فیلوشپ کے لیے منتخب ہونے پر الطاف حسین کو صدر شعبہ پروفیسر عبدالعظیم اور ڈین پروفیسر رضاءاللہ خان اور دیگر اساتذہ نے مبارکباد دی اور نیک خواہشات کا اظہار کیا۔ اردو یونیورسٹی کے طالب علم کو ایک معیاری بین الاقوامی ادارے میں میں فیلوشپ کا حصول سبھی کے لیے قابل فخر بات ہے۔

ABVP MANUU expresses its gratitude to Shri Bandi Sanjay Kumar, Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs, for firmly highlighting concerns regarding the protection of land allotted to Maulana Azad National Urdu University.
His clear position on safeguarding educational institutions reinforces the need to protect students’ interests and the sanctity of university spaces.

ABVP MANUU strongly condemns the show cause notice issued for MANUU land. A Central University established by Parliament cannot be treated like surplus property.
The Congress government made many promises during elections, but now its actions speak otherwise—first HCU, now MANUU. This reflects a dangerous trend of targeting and diluting public educational institutions by pushing their land towards sale or resumption.
We demand immediate withdrawal of the notice and protection of MANUU’s land and future.
