Final Update — Odisha Flood Relief 🙏
Against the backdrop of the new flood alert in Odisha, relief kits were successfully distributed to families in the affected areas on 30th August 2026.

Unsure on the remaining funds from past week despite the 100% efforts by a team, now got a closing hand by our own FMN & TZF in a couple of days! 🤗

FYI, Transportation and branding expenses have been covered entirely from their own pockets. None of the funds collected have been used for these expenses.

Supporting Odisha, One Family at a Time 🙏
The recent floods caused by the Baitarani and Brahmani rivers have severely affected several villages in Odisha, leaving families without access to basic food and essential supplies.
Among the deeply affected areas are Ahiyas Kaspa, Tarapada and Mallikapur in Jajpur district, where 600 families are still in need of immediate relief.
What makes this effort especially moving is how the need was identified. During a recent relief distribution, 12-year-old Dhanunjay Sahu from Ahiyas Kaspa came forward and reached out to the Me2We team, requesting help for his village, which had been completely submerged by the floods.
A special appreciation to Me2We Team for identifying this remote and genuinely deserving case, and for taking the initiative to go beyond the usual relief points. ❤️
Even more commendable is the commitment of the Me2We team leads who are travelling to the affected villages physically tomorrow, 29th August, to personally oversee and hand over essential grocery relief kits to the families, working alongside NAVI and the Police departments.
The plan is to support 600 families with essential groceries including rice, dal, oil, salt, atta, sugar and tea.
🙏 This is more than distributing relief kits. It is about reaching people who may otherwise remain unseen.
A 12-year-old boy reached out for help for his village.
Me2We listened. They are going there. Now, it’s our turn to stand with them. ❤️

Hafeeza, a 6-year-old girl, suffered a severe head injury when a tree branch fell on her. She was rushed to the hospital immediately and remained unconscious for several days.
By God’s grace, Hafeeza is slowly recovering. She has opened her eyes, which is a hopeful sign, though she is not yet responding. The stitches on her head are completed, but doctors suspect that part of the skull may be touching the brain internally, requiring close and continuous monitoring.

The good news is that Hafeeza has come off the ventilator, a major improvement. However, doctors have advised that she must remain hospitalized for a few more days, and the exact duration is still uncertain. So far, ₹6.5 lakh has been spent on her treatment ₹4.2 lakh raised from family and friends and ₹2.25 lakh received from the CM Relief Fund. Despite approaching many doctors and government officials for concessions, and with the hospital already providing maximum possible concessions, the entire amount has now been fully utilized due to ongoing medical expenses.

Based on doctors’ advice, Hafeeza may need to stay in the hospital for another 20–30 days, with daily expenses of approximately ₹12,000–₹15,000. The expected cost for the next phase of treatment is around ₹3 lakh. To ensure her uninterrupted treatment and recovery, we are now aiming to raise funds to cover these upcoming hospital bills.

Hafeeza’s father, a bike mechanic, is doing everything he can, but the expenses are beyond his means. 🙏 We humbly request your support and prayers to help Hafeeza recover and return to health.
