Mothers are increasingly targeted through scams like impersonation calls, fake investment schemes promising, WhatsApp cloning and family emergency frauds. Teach her to - Never share OTPs, verify family emergency calls independently, avoid clicking unknown links even from familiar numbers and consult family before making financial decisions online.

A Cyber Security Awareness Session was conducted for NCC cadets at CATC-IV, Oasis of Excellence, Shamshabad, under the National Cadet Corps, wherein a total of 600 cadets (320 degree/pharmacy students and 280 school students) participated, along with NCC staff.

The session covered key topics such as mobile security, social media safety, and essential cyber hygiene practices. Cadets were sensitized on identifying online scams, job frauds, task-based investment frauds, courier frauds, and digital arrests.

The programme also emphasized the importance of not sharing KYC details with strangers and created awareness about reporting cybercrimes through the helpline 1930 and cybercrime.gov.in.
