At Mana Privacy, Data Privacy Day – Hyderabad, organised by DPO Club, Sai Sri, IPS, SP Cybercrime, TGCSB, attended as the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker, addressing the topic “Cyber Safety in the Digital Era” with a focus on safeguarding both parents and children online.

The session highlighted the need for greater digital awareness within families, empowering parents to guide their children through online risks while helping children develop safe, responsible digital habits.

Empowering students with cyber awareness today helps build a safer digital society tomorrow.

As part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, D4C Suryapet conducted a cyber security awareness programme at SV Degree College, Suryapet, in the presence of District SP Sri K. Narasimha, IPS, D4C DSP Sri Venkataiah, the D4C team and College Principal Sri Venkateshwarlu. Approximately 250 students participated.

The session highlighted common cyber threats, including part-time job scams, loan app fraud, impersonation and online shopping fraud. Students learned about the tactics used by cybercriminals, preventive measures and safe online practices to protect themselves from digital threats.

The programme also encouraged students to become cyber ambassadors, spreading awareness and promoting responsible digital behaviour in their communities.

Strengthening cyber safety begins with empowering those who serve our communities.

As part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, a training session was conducted at the Hanamkonda Collectorate for approximately 170 officers from Warangal Commissionerate, including SHOs, Sector Sub-Inspectors and Blue Colts personnel.

Conducted by the Commissioner of Police, Warangal, the session focused on equipping officers to raise public awareness about cybercrimes through door-to-door campaigns, helping citizens recognise online threats and adopt safer digital practices.

Taking cyber awareness to every doorstep is a vital step towards building a more informed and cyber-resilient Telangana.

As part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, D4C Mulugu conducted a cybercrime awareness programme for students at the Social Welfare Hostel, Jeevantharo Pally, Mulugu district, in the presence of Sri Ravinder, DSP, Mulugu.

The session highlighted common online threats, including part-time job scams, loan app fraud, impersonation, online shopping fraud, investment scams and online trading fraud. Students were encouraged to follow PAUSE • THINK • VERIFY before clicking suspicious links or sharing personal information online.

Cyber safety and ethical practices go hand in hand in building a secure digital ecosystem.

As part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2026, the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) conducted a cybercrime awareness session at Dhanlaxmi Bank, Banjara Hills Branch, for bank employees and customers.

The session covered digital arrest scams, investment frauds, phishing and online banking frauds, highlighting safe digital banking practices, preventive measures and the importance of promptly reporting cybercrime.

Aligned with the theme “Probity for Prosperity,” the programme reinforced the importance of integrity, transparency and accountability alongside responsible digital behaviour.
