Brihadeeswarar Temple: A testament to the Dravidian architecture of the Chola period, it is one of the largest and most magnificent temples in India. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, its history can be traced to around 1010 AD when it was built by the visionary Rajaraja Chola I. Its most captivating feature includes a towering 13 ft x 16 ft statue of Nandi carved from a single rock, embodying the temple’s majestic spirit and artistic brilliance.
