Geography
Ghatkesar is located at 17.4494°N 78.6853°E.[1] It has an average elevation of 469 metres (1541 feet).
Ghatkesar is main city and mandal in rangareddy ditrict.

The closest Mmts Train station is at Ghatkesar. The town is well connected to ECIL, KEESARA, TARNAKA, SAINIKPURI, BIBI NAGAR, BHONGIR and HAYATH NAGAR.

Ghatkesar railway station is in the Secunderabad-Kazipet section of South Central Railway, Indian Railways.
Ghatkesar is the rapid growth area. Presently Infosys spread in 460 acrs of land and recruiting nearly 50000 employees in which 4000 employers already working. Georgeo tech university has announced the R&D division at Infosys campus in which thousands of employers are coming.
