ORDER:
In view of the formation of Telangana State, the Director General of Police, Telangana in the reference first read above has proposed new Police Logo, Cap Badge, Shoulder Badge and Belt Badge. Accordingly, Government have approved new Police Logo in the reference second read above.
2. The Director General of Police, Telangana has proposed new Cap Badge, Shoulder Badge and Belt Badge to wear by various categories of Officers in Telangana State Police. The specification of proposed new Badges are as follows:
(1). Deputy Inspector General of Police (NC), Superintendent of Police (NC), Additional Superintendent of Police and Deputy Superintendent of Police of all wings of Police Department wear the following Badges:
(a). Cap Badge: Telangana State Police Service Cap Badge is made of brass nickel plated material and of size 35mmX42mm with the pin on the back fixed from left to right. The pattern of the Badge will be as shown in diagram given below. Shoulder Badge: Telangana State Police Service Shoulder Badge made of brass nickel plated material and of size 46mmX14mm with brass split pin. The pattern of the Badge will be as shown in diagram given below.

(c). Belt Badge: Telangana State Police Service Belt Badge made of brass nickel plated material and of size 35mmX42mm. Inspector/Reserve Inspector, Sub-Inspector/Reserve Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector/Assistant Reserve Sub-Inspector of all wings of Police Department, Telangana State wear the following Badges:
(a). Cap Badge: Telangana State Police Service Cap Badge made of brass nickel plated material and of size 34mmX50mm with the pin on the back fixed from left to right. Shoulder Badge: Except Reserve Inspector / Reserve Sub Inspector and Assistant Reserve Sub-Inspector, all above category officers shall wear the following given Telangana State Police Service Shoulder Badge. It is made of brass nickel plated material and of size 40mmX17mm with brass split pin. Belt Badge: It is made of brass nickel plated material and of size 34mmX50mm. Reserve Inspector, Reserve Sub-Inspector, Assistant Reserve Sub-Inspector, Head Constable and Police Constable of Telangana State Special Police wear the following Shoulder Badge. Shoulder Badge: It is made of brass nickel plated material and of size 45mmX14mm with brass split pin. (4). Head Constable and Police Constable of all wings of Police Department of Telangana State Police wear the following Badges. (a). Cap Badge: It is made of brass nickel plated material and of size 35mmX42mm with the pin on the back fixed from left to right. The pattern of the Badge will be as shown in diagram given below.

(b). Belt Badge: It is made of brass nickel plated material and of size 35mmX42mm. (5). Home Guards wear the following Shoulder Badge
Shoulder Badge: It is made of brass nickel plated material and of size 46mmX14mm with brass split pin. The pattern of the Badge will be as shown in diagram given below.
3. Government have examined the matter and hereby approve the new Cap Badge, Shoulder Badge and Belt Badge given at Para (2) above to wear by various categories of Officers in Telangana State Police.
4. The Director General of Police, Telangana State, Hyderabad, shall take necessary action accordingly. (BY ORDER AND IN THE NAME OF THE GOVERNOR OF TELANGANA)
