A video went viral in social media that some persons were travelling in an open top Jeep in rash and negligently by showing a fire arm and they were creating public nuisance thereby terrifying the public near Sarvi hotel at Road No. 1, Banjara Hills. Based on these contents a case has been registered in Banjara Hills PS.

Immediately, apprehended the accused by name Afeezuddin, Age: 21 years, Resident of Sanath Nagar, along with the Jeep Driver and seized the and fire arm (air rifle ) which are involved in the crime.

The accused is a videographer by profession and he uses the air rifle in creating reels on social media. He used the same air rifle and created a reel showing he is traveling in an open top jeep on road no 1 in the night and the air rifle in his hand which is against to the law and attracts arms act.

HYDERABAD CITY POLICE – HNEW CONDUCTED JOINT OPERATION ALONG WITH HUMAYUNNAGAR POLICE - HELD (01) ABSCONDING FOREIGN NATIONAL DRUG SUPPLIER AND SEIZED (01) CELL PHONE FROM HIS POSESSION.
On credible information from the HNEW Team, the Humayunnagar Police had conducted joint operation along with HNEW team and apprehended (01) absconding Foreign National drug offender and seized (01) mobile phone from him which pertains to Crime No.398/2024, U/Sec.8(c) r/w 22(c), 27, 29 NDPS Act 1985 of Humayunnagar PS, Hyderabad.

DETAILS OF FOREIGN NATIONAL DRUG SUPPLIER:
Moussa Camara @ Romeo, S/o. Late Mohammed Camara, age 38 years N/o. Guinea, R/o. Bangalore.

BRIEF ABOUT THE OFFENDER:
The foreigner Moussa Camara @ Romeo was born and brought up in Guinea. He is an illiterate and un-married. In the year 2017 he got passport in Guinea and on 24.11.2020 he came to India on medical visa and landed in Mumbai International Airport. Immediately the immigration authorities apprehended him as he was carrying Co***ne drug and later he was arrested in the said case. He was in Arthur Road jail, Mumbai for (06) months.
After releasing from the jail he used to stay with his friend Emika at Nallasopara, Mumbai for a period of 1 year. Later his friend Emika left to his country Nigeria. During his stay at Nallasopara, Mumbai he met with some Nigerian drug suppliers and developed contacts with them.
In the year 2024 he moved to Bangalore and started doing peddling in and around Bangalore and also supplying the stuff to Hyderabad.
Today morning i.e., 05.02.2025 on credible information, the HNEW team along with Humayunnagar Police apprehended the accused Moussa Camara @ Romeo at Paramount Hills, Tolichowki, Hyderabad. On enquiry the accused Moussa Camara @ Romeo voluntarily admitted that in order to meet his lavish lifestyle expenses, he planned to start Drug business in Hyderabad as his associate who supplies drugs locally was arrested on Oct, 25th 2024. So he did not have anyone to identify and deliver drugs to consumers in Hyderabad and hence to find out the consumers he came to Hyderabad, meantime Police party caught hold him and handed over to Humayun Nagar Police, as he is absconding in the case of Cr. No. 398/2024 of Humayun Nagar PS for taking necessary action.
MODUS OPERANDI:
In this case the offender Moussa Camara @ Romeo used to supply drugs to Mohammed Abdul Rehman Osman @ Mohammed @ Osman @ Hanin, Sudan National to deliver the same to the consumers of Moussa Camara by the way of dead drop i.e., sharing the drug dropped photo and location and receiving all the payments through mule bank account through G pay & Phone pay.

Hon’ble XII Addl. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court Smt. G Anusha has convicted two accused persons for the offence of fake email ID creation under Crime No.219/2019 U/Sec. 419 IPC and 66(c)(d) IT Act,2000 in a case investigated by the Cyber Crime Unit, Hyderabad.
Details of the Accused Persons:
1. Avvaru Laxmi Deepak S/o Venkat Rao, age. 32 years R/o Warrisguda, Secunderabad.
2. Ragula Sravan Kumar S/o Late. Raju, 33 years old, R/o Tarnaka Hyderabad.
Brief facts of the case:-
A 46 years old victim from Hyderabad was cheated by fraudsters through the creation of fake email ID. The complainant is a woman who had shares in various companies in her Demat account. A1 (Lakshmi Deepak) promised to help her retrieve unclaimed shares from her deceased father’s account. In the year of 2014, A1 convinced her to open a Demat and Trading account with M/s Aditya Birla Money Ltd. While doing this, A1 also created a fake email ID in her name without her knowledge or consent, despite her not knowing how to operate a phone or create an email. Over several years, A1 transferred her shares and misused her accounts. The complainant only found out about the fraud in 2018, based on her complaint to the police a case was registered in Cr. No.219/19 U/Sec. 419 IPC and 66(c)(d) IT Act,2000 and investigated into. During the investigation, the Investigating Officer (I.O.) recovered the email address and phone number from Google. The I.O. obtained the call detail records and found they belonged to A2. The A2 was implicated as part of the fraud, as he helped A1 in the creation of the fake email and the fraudulent transactions.
Conviction details:
In view of proved offence of personation, and taking into note of the nature of offence committed by the accused and the facts and circumstances of the case, the accused Nos. 1 and 2 are sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment for a period of six months and also sentenced to pay fine amount of Rs. 10,000/- each for the offence U/Sec. 66-D of IT Act, 2000 in default of payment of fine amount, they shall suffer one month simple imprisonment.
Following a swift investigation the I.O Sri. Ch.Gangadhar, Inspector of Police, filed charge sheet in the case after a detail trial, Smt. G. Anusha, Hon’ble XII Addl. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Hyderabad found the accused guilty and delivered the conviction on 04.02.2025.
