On 4th February, at TKR Group of Institutions, a truly historic milestone was achieved on the occasion of World Cancer Awareness Day. In collaboration with Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK), Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute set a world record, with over 10,000 students of TKR group of Institutions, forming a human cancer ribbon, symbolizing unity and commitment towards cancer prevention.

Earlier, the Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute, in collaboration with the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge, achieved the largest synchronized cancer prevention pledge ever recorded.

In recognition of this extraordinary achievement, the Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) was formally awarded the official world record certificate. Building on this landmark accomplishment, over two lakh students from 750 institutions across Telangana came together simultaneously to take the “Youth for a Cancer-Free Tomorrow” pledge, alongside a comprehensive cancer prevention awareness session.

This historic initiative stands as a powerful testament to the strength of youth-led action in building a healthier, cancer-free future.

The drive features openings for Jio Point Manager (₹3.36 LPA) and Jio Point Assistant Manager (₹2.10 LPA) across Navipet, Nandipet, Balkonda, and Velpur, offering excellent entry-level leadership roles.

Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge successfully hosted the State Consultation (Telangana) on AI-Enabled Skilling under the UNDP–NASSCOM Foundation Study.

The session was graced by Shri Shrikant Sinha CEO, TASK, who highlighted the importance of AI-driven strategies in strengthening the state's skilling ecosystem.

As part of the UNDP-commissioned study “Innovative AI Strategies for Skill Enhancement in Telangana and Tamil Nadu: Framework for Action,” the consultation brought together leading experts and innovators to review preliminary findings, share high-impact insights, and shape actionable pathways to embed Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Telangana’s skill development framework.

With 30+ participants from diverse industry backgrounds joining both physically and virtually, the discussion was dynamic, insightful, and future-focused.

Together, we’re accelerating Telangana’s journey toward an AI-powered, future-ready workforce.
