It's really delighted to share a moment captured of our 9th Standard 'Sindhu' receiving 3rd prize - cashaward with a certificate in painting competition held between 158 schools conducted by the Department of Police in Hyderabad.
Whereas, other 9 participants of our school have received certificates of participation:)

One of our very bright students from Devarakonda Basti near Punjagutta who passed SSC with 9.2 GPA in 2012. [Intentionally, hiding her name]
Her father got a health problem which needs Open heart surgery. Heard that he needs it as soon as possible. The problem is even if he gets the open heart surgery through ArogyaSree facility, its impact will be for 10 years. There is a hospital that does alternate treatment that promises complete treatment through regular weekly injections worth Rs 2000 for 25 times.
I didn't visit the hospital yet. But they are www.safehealthindia.com
Her father is the only earning man in their family with her younger brother still going to school who's health would seriously impact the family.

2 years back Ganesh and Raja (Class VIII student) advised me that we shall start a group in school to enlighten ourselves on social issues. Raja, Ramakrishna, Afia, Afreen, Rajesh, Deepak, Irfan, Nadeem and some more. We attended various sessions. Last year when I quit, I was afraid that SRC will close. But, proud that still the kids will call me to arrange visits. Thats the story of SRC.
This Sunday to Ashray Akruti (school for Special Children) to welcome 2013 with empathy !
