Dear Managing Director, HMWS&SB, Sir, The existing road at Ali Cafe, Bada Bazar, Yakutpura Assembly Constituency was dugged by HMWS&SB last one month back and kept open since then causing traffic jam and I am afraid that some one may fall in this big hole and loose his life then only HMWS&SB will wake up and close this big hole on road.

"Tragedy at Kachiguda Railway Station: 22-Year-Old Solar Maintenance Worker Electrocuted While on Duty; MBT Extends Support to Family"

A tragic incident occurred at Kachiguda Railway Station on July 1, 2026, in which a 22-year-old labourer, Mr. Surya, a native of Eluru, Andhra Pradesh, died on the spot after being electrocuted while carrying out maintenance work related to the solar power system installed at the railway station.

Mr. Surya was residing at Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad, and was employed by a private maintenance company entrusted with the upkeep of solar systems at railway stations.

Upon learning about the unfortunate incident, Amjed Ullah Khan, Spokesman of Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT), immediately contacted the victim's family members and extended all possible assistance. Mr. Khan met the deceased's brother and later visited the mortuary of Osmania General Hospital, where he reviewed the situation and coordinated with the concerned authorities.

Mr. Khan also held discussions with officials of the maintenance company responsible for the solar system works and officers of the Government Railway Police (GRP) regarding the circumstances leading to the fatal accident.

Following the completion of the post-mortem examination, Mr. Khan facilitated the formalities for handing over the body to the deceased's brother and made necessary arrangements for transporting the mortal remains to the family's native place, Eluru, Andhra Pradesh.

Expressing deep sorrow over the loss of a young worker's life, Mr. Amjed Ullah Khan conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family and urged the concerned authorities and company management to ensure adequate compensation and support to the family of the deceased. He also called for a thorough inquiry into the incident and the implementation of stringent safety measures to prevent such tragedies in the future.

Election Commission of India Takes Serious Note of MBT Complaint on Electoral Irregularities in Hyderabad

Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) Spokesman Amjed Ullah Khan stated that the Election Commission of India has officially taken serious note of the complaint submitted by MBT regarding alleged large-scale irregularities in the voter verification and electoral roll revision process in Hyderabad Parliamentary Constituency.

Mr. Khan informed that on 6th May 2026, MBT had submitted a detailed representation to the Chief Election Commissioner of India highlighting grave concerns over the functioning of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in several Assembly Constituencies including Yakutpura, Chandrayangutta, Malakpet, Charminar, Bahadurpura and Karwan.

The complaint alleged that mandatory door-to-door voter verification procedures were not being followed by certain BLOs and that verification activities were allegedly being conducted from political party offices and residences of local political leaders. Serious concerns were also raised regarding alleged misuse and unauthorized sharing of BLO login credentials and passwords, thereby risking confidential voter data and the integrity of the electoral process.

Mr. Khan said that the Election Commission of India, through its communication dated 21st May 2026, forwarded the complaint along with other representations to the Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana for immediate and appropriate action. Subsequently, the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana, through Memo dated 26th May 2026, directed the Commissioner GHMC & District Election Officer Hyderabad and other concerned officials to take necessary action as per Election Commission guidelines and extant laws.

MBT stated that this development vindicates the concerns raised by the party and reflects the seriousness of the issue. Mr. Khan emphasized that free and fair elections are the backbone of democracy and any unauthorized political interference in the voter verification process cannot be tolerated.

A fair and impartial inquiry into the functioning of BLOs in Hyderabad Parliamentary Constituency.

Strict action against any officials or individuals found guilty of violating Election Commission norms.

Immediate safeguards to protect confidential voter data from misuse.

Transparency in the electoral roll revision process to ensure that no genuine voter is wrongfully deleted from electoral rolls.

Mr. Khan further stated that MBT will continue to remain vigilant and raise its voice to protect the democratic and constitutional rights of citizens, particularly marginalized and minority communities.

Amjed Ullah Khan (Spokesman) MBT along with Syed Imdad Hussain (MBT leader) and Askery Hussain Mutawali Ashoorkhana Shazade Ali Asgar (AS) Ibne Imam Hussain (AS) Purani Haweli Road inspected the ongoing road widening work being taken up by GHMC for Metro Rail Project during which the shed of the above said Aashoorkhana has been removed without any notice.

The Mutawalli has requested Amjed Ullah Khan to speak with Wakf Board and Metro Rail Officials and get permission to put temporary shed for 20 days during Mohrrum-2026 as the said Mohrrum-2026 is falling during Rainy season.The zayareen who come to attend Majlis will face problems if temporary shed is not erected.

Later Amjed Ullah Khan along with Syed Imdad Hussain and Askari Hussain today met Sri Azmath Ullah Hussaini Chairman Telangana State Wakf Board and submitted an application to erect a temporary shed during Mohrrum-2026 for conduct of peaceful Majlis.The Chairman Telangana State Wakf Board assured that he will personally speak with Officials of Hyderabad Metro Rail and see that permission is granted and shed is also erected.
