TMTAU Our union was formed as TELUGU MOVIE and TV ARTISTES UNION and it was registered under Societies Act on 6th February 2012. Uma Maheshwara Rao. Sri.
Sri CS Sundaram was its first President. First time our association bring the Film and TV Artistes under one umbrella. Our Objectives are
-To promote our member artistes for better chances in films and TV Serials.
-To safeguard the interest of our artistes .
-To resolve the disputes between artistes and producers regarding their professional assignments and remuneration.
-Group Insurance for t
he welfare of the members.
-To obtain health Cards.
-To approach the govt for house sites and other welfare schemes.
-Financial assistance to the needy members.
-Financial support to their dependents after their demise. After formation of Telangana state, the name of our union was changed as TELANGANA MOVIE and TV ARTISTES UNION and it was registered under Trade Union Act 1926 vide its register number B-2884 dated 24-09-2015, for more benefits to our members. On 03-04-2016 our union was affiliated to Telangana Cinema Industry Employees Federation. Our Association is successfully running since 2012 and its present membership strength is 325 plus .
