About Us
HCHW is a registered secular non profit organisation dedicated to the cause of poor and downtrodden. Established on 2nd October,1990 by a group of young qualified and trained social work professionals to support children deprived of education and the joys of childhood, HCHW has evolved into a vibrant organisation that addresses a gamut of issues including child rights, education, health, HIV/AIDS, livelihoods etc. The organisation operates across the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh through it's wide network.
HCHW attempts at empowering individuals, families and communities by building their resilience to cope up with their situations and live a dignified life enjoying their rights and entitlements. We work with neglected children (living on streets and in other difficult circumstances) and marginalised urban and rural populations. HCHW evolves and implements innovative projects based upon the needs and priorities of the communities with whom we work. All our projects are designed to sustainably improve the situation of people in crisis as well as to attack the root causes of their crisis.
Renowned national and international organisations including Novib, WERELDKINDEREN, CRY, ILO, IOM, FHI, Clinton Foundation, UNICEF and many others along with the local government have partnered to support it's various initiatives. We have reached out to more than 119000 as on March 2014 .
