Urban Gardening: The self sufficient wayπ
Akila Chungi our in-house potter and founder at Kalaachakra, will share her experiences on urban communities.
March 24th, 9:30am - 5:30pm
Akila Chungi is a Potter and founder at Kalaachakra -an art and community center, Hyderabad. She spends most days making pots at her studio. She recently started working with the village potters in South India to understand their traditional work culture and apply it in this Post-Contemporary era. She completed her PDC in 2017 with Rico Zook, Clea Chandmal, Jude Hobbs, Hui Chiang and others.

James Clark will bring in his learnings and journey to our workshop on 24th March, 9:30am - 5:30pm
He is an educator from England who has a decade of experience exploring the oceans and teaching deep sea diving and underwater naturalist courses before turning to a life back on land. Passionate about the wonder and conservation of nature, he completed his PDC with Chistoff Schneider (Austria). Through Studio Baag, he aims to take environmental education mainstream.
