Hon'ble Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday reiterated that reservations for the sociologically and educationally backward Muslims would get enhanced reservation quota. Like the way Telangana state is achieved which some considered may not be possible, this will also be achieved. He said that the state government is implementing several schemes and programmes for the development and welfare of the minorities, Muslims in the State. Minorities and Muslims turned up in large numbers from all the state to Pragathi Bhavan here on Thursday to thank the CM who had announced that the government will give reservations to the economically and educationally backward minorities and Muslims in the State. Muslim Clerics have blessed the CM. Sri Rajeshwar Rao and Sri Farooq Hussain who were re-nominated as MLCs under the Governor’s quota by the State cabinet have also met the CM and thanked him.

Speaking on the occasion, the CM said Telangana State has the Ganga-Jamuna Tehzeeb. The state government is working with a commitment to the welfare of minorities. No one should entertain any doubts over the hike in reservation quota for the Muslims. In Tamil Nadu 69 percent of reservations are being implemented and in Telangana too enhanced reservations will be implemented. The CM said since both Sri Rajeshwar Rao and Sri Farooq Hussian have done a good service towards the people and minorities that they were re-nominated to the Council. The entire Cabinet has unanimously supported them, the CM said.

ఎన్ని అవాంతరాలు ఎదురైనా తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రం వచ్చినట్లే సామాజికంగా, విద్య పరంగా వెనుకబడిన ముస్లిం కులాలకు రిజర్వేషన్లు పెరిగి తీరుతాయని ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ కె. చంద్రశేఖర్ రావు ఆశాభావం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. ముస్లిం, మైనారిటీల అభివృద్ది కోసం ప్రభుత్వం అనేక కార్యక్రమాలు అమలు చేస్తున్నదని సిఎం చెప్పారు. సామాజికంగా, విద్య పరంగా వెనుకబడిన ముస్లింలకు రిజర్వేషన్లు కల్పిస్తామని సిఎం ప్రకటించిన నేపథ్యంలో వివిధ ప్రాంతాల నుండి పెద్ద ఎత్తున మైనారిటీలు ప్రగతి భవన్ చేరుకుని ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేసిఆర్ కు అభినందనలు తెలిపారు. మత పెద్దలు కేసిఆర్ ను ఆశీర్వదించారు.శ్రీ రాజేశ్వర్ రావు, శ్రీ ఫారూఖ్ హుస్సేన్ లకు గవర్నర్ కోటా కింద ఎమ్మెల్సీలుగా మరో సారి అవకాశం కల్పించినందుకు మైనారిటీలు సిఎం కు కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలిపారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి మాట్లాడుతూ తెలంగాణది గంగా జమున తెహజీబ్ అన్నారు. మైనారిటీలు సంక్షేమం కోసం ప్రభుత్వం చిత్తశుధ్దితో కృషి చేస్తున్నదన్నారు. రిజర్వేషన్ల పెంపు విషయంలో ఏలాంటి సందేహాలు అవసరం లేదన్నారు. తమిళనాడు రాష్ట్రంలో 69 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు అమలవుతున్నట్లే తెలంగాణలో కూడా రిజర్వేషన్లు పెంచుకుంటామని స్పష్టం చేశారు. రాజేశ్వర్ రావు, ఫారూఖ్ హస్సేన్లు అటు మైనారిటీల అభివృద్ధికి, ఇటు ప్రజల సమస్యల పరిష్కారానికి ఎనలేని కృషి చేస్తున్నందునే వారిని తిరిగి ఎమ్మెల్సీలుగా ప్రకటించినట్లు సిఎం వెల్లడించారు. క్యాబినెట్ సభ్యులంతా ఏకగ్రీవంగా వీరిద్దరి అభ్యర్థిత్వాన్ని సమర్ధించారని సిఎం చెప్పారు.

Jai Raj Steel to set up Rs 3,000 cr plant in Mahabubnagar District

Telangana has bagged another major investment! Jai Raj Steel today announced that it will establish steel plant in Dharur Mandal of Mahabubnagar District. The proposed plant will come up at the Group’s 250-acre land in the southern Telangana district. Jai Raj Ispat Limited Executive Director Sri Siddharth Jain met Minister for Industries Sri KT Rama Rao and gave details of the project. Sri Jain said that they have surveyed industrial atmosphere in all the States of India and eventually chose Telangana due to its proactive and prompt Governance. The visiting team also said that there is positive response from the industry towards Telangana’s policies and promptness.

The proposed steel plant will come up in two phases with an investment of approximately Rs 3,000 crore. With a production capacity of 10 lakh tonnes annually, the plant will provide direct employment to 1,200 while 3,500 will be indirectly benefitted.

Minister Sri KT Rama Rao assured the Group of all cooperation from the Telangana Government and directed the Sri Arvind Kumar, Secretary, Industries to take requisite steps. The Jai Raj Steel representatives said that they will introduce top-notch, state-of-the-art technology in the plant hat shall drastically reduce pollution levels. Jai Raj Steel will produce TMT bars out of the new facility. Minister Sri KT Rama Rao instructed Ms. Sreedevi, District Collector, Mahabubnagar to extend support from the Government.
