Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police apprehended a accused person by name Akash @ Akash Varma, S/o. Kaluram, Age: 22 years, Occ: Electrician from UP state, who is involved in investment fraud (Stock Trading). Accused is involved in 30 cases across India out of which 4 cases pertaining to Telangana State.

𝗔𝗰𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀:

A-1: Akash @ Akash Varma, S/o Kaluram, Age: 22 years, Occ: Electrician, R/o. Sector 77, Noida, Gautam Buddha nagar UP State. He is the account holder and account supplier.

𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗘 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗦:

A 36-year-old male victim from Hyderabad approached Cyber Crimes with a complaint stating that initially victim was invited to what’s app group called D12- Stock Market Profit Guide Group where he was introduced himself as a Sanjay. He suggested another person by name Abacus – Amy in which he asked victim to download application link Abacus Cayman for and the same was downloaded and started trading with the advices of Mr Sanjay. Initially victim had added some funds for which they showed him lot of Profits. According to the capital he was moved to another what’s app group 2- Special Training Team B. Later, Abacus Amy instructed victim to send 10% of the Total profit. Believing them to be genuine he deposited amount in multiple times for totalling to Rs.1,47,00,000/-. Later they stopped the withdrawal process. Based on his complaint a case was registered in Cr.no. 213/2025 U/sec 66-C, 66-D IT act & sec 111(2)(b), 318(4),319(2), 336(3),338,340 (2) of BNS and investigated into.

𝗠𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗦 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗜:

Fraudsters contact victims through:

Social media platforms, Telegram app, WhatsApp calls and Messages.

Offers of double or triple profits in a short time through stock market trading.

They are displaying huge returns in their application initially.
Allowing withdrawals to a certain extent to build trust
Proposing investments with promises of substantial profits.

Showing virtual profits to lure victims into investing more.

Blocking withdrawals once larger amounts are invested.

Such schemes are fraudulent and do not have SEBI’s endorsement. Fraudsters are using simple tactics to lure gullible investors with promises of high returns and Fake profit screenshots.

The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team along with Moghalpura Police have apprehended three accused persons who are procuring and selling of MEPHENTERMINE SULPHATE INJECTIONS without any valid license to the needy customers in higher rates and earning easy money illegally.

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀:-

1. Syed Asad, age. 28 yrs, Occ: Tailor, R/o Shahalibanda, Hyderabad

2. Ahmed Qureshi age: 30 yrs, Occ: Beef shop, R/o Balapur RR Dist,.

3. CCL (boy), age. 17 yrs, Occ: Lift Mechanic, R/o Balapur RR Dist,.

𝗦𝗲𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱:-

All W.Rs. 1,20,000/-

𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀:-

The main accused Syed Asad was born and brought up from Hyderabad. He used to procure the Mephentermine Sulphate Injections through online India Mart, New Delhi and using it himself. Further, he is procuring the injections and selling it to the needy customers for huge benefits through his known persons Ahmed Qureshi and CCL boy without any valid license at Hari Bowli X Roads which falls under the limits of Moghalpura PS and earning easy money illegally. As the customers are using these injections as steroid to build their muscles in a short time. Earlier, the main accused Syed Asad is involved in one petty case regarding injecting of Mephetermine Injections himself.

On tip of information, the South Zone Task Force, Hyderabad along with Moghalpura Police have apprehended the above three persons and seized the same at their instance at Hari Bowli X Roads. The apprehended persons and seized material were handed over to SHO, Moghalpura PS, Hyderabad for further investigation. Subsequently, registered a case vide Cr.No.79/2025 U/s 318(4), 278 BNS of Moghalpura PS and took up investigation.

𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: -The Medicine Mephentermine may cause side effects like Cardiac Arrest, High Blood Pressure etc., The medicine using is causing injurious to health without doctor advice. As the Mephentermine Sulphate Injections (It is a schedule H Drug – It should be sell only with the prescription of Registered Medical Practitioner only)

The above arrests were made under the supervision of Sri S. Raghavendra, Inspector, SIs Sri M. Mahesh, N. Naveen, G. Anjaneyulu, K. Narsimulu, & Staff of Task Force along with Moghalpura Police.

A video went viral in social media that some persons were travelling in an open top Jeep in rash and negligently by showing a fire arm and they were creating public nuisance thereby terrifying the public near Sarvi hotel at Road No. 1, Banjara Hills. Based on these contents a case has been registered in Banjara Hills PS.

Immediately, apprehended the accused by name Afeezuddin, Age: 21 years, Resident of Sanath Nagar, along with the Jeep Driver and seized the and fire arm (air rifle ) which are involved in the crime.

The accused is a videographer by profession and he uses the air rifle in creating reels on social media. He used the same air rifle and created a reel showing he is traveling in an open top jeep on road no 1 in the night and the air rifle in his hand which is against to the law and attracts arms act.

𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝗱𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀.

(1) A complaint was received by SHE Teams Hyderabad from the parents of a student from Bhainsa, Nizamabad District, stating that their daughter had called them, informing them she trapped by a friend on Instagram, who threatened and forced her to come to Hyderabad and She had been locked in a hotel room for 20 days. She shared her current location via WhatsApp. The distressed parents rushed to Hyderabad and approached SHE Teams for immediate assistance. With a quick response, SHE Teams tracked and located the girl in a locked hotel room at Narayanaguda, Hyderabad, where she was rescued within a short time. upon rescue the victim girl embraced her parents, expressing both fear and relief. A criminal case has been registered against the cuprit at Narayanaguda Police Station under Cr.No: 304/2024 U/S 64(2)(m), 127(4), 316(2) BNS.

(2) In another case, SHE Teams received a complaint via WhatsApp from a student of the reputed culinary Academy in Hyderabad. She reported that she had been subjected to ongoing harassment by some of her classmates, identified as mischief group in the academy. the group had been teasing her and making inappropriate gestures, vulgar comments since long period causing her mental distress. upon receiving the complaint, SHE Teams made an inquiry into the matter. After a thorough investigation, a criminal case was registered against the culprits at Panjagutta Police Station under Cr.No: 932/2024 U/S 79 r/w 3(5) of BNS, reflecting the seriousness of the harassment.

In addition to taking legal action against culprits, SHE Teams also issued a strict warning to the college administration, and requested to take preventive measures to ensure the safety of their students.
