Hi

While previously(last post) we shared that orphan wing has moved to a new building, now that building is given to Old age

And happy to share that SARAS orphan wing has been moved to new place in the same region of Shameerpet, on Jan 28, 2014.
This time boys and girls have different building located close to each other (photo attached)

Please note:
No part of SARAS is located on the main road of Shameerpet.

Now we are located:
Old age building: 1 km inside the main road of Shameerpet in the way of LAW college (Haritha shameerpet Lake resort road)
Orphan buildings: dead end colony(300 meters) to the lane adjacent to the old age block (old age home will be guiding)

SARAS office is established in Girls campus of orphan wing.

SARAS wishing every child a HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY

SARAS orphan wing has been relocated/moved to a new rental building on Sep 23 2013.

This new block is around 2km from the SARAS oldage wing/home. Located ~1km inside the main road of shameerpet in the way of LAW college (Haritha shameerpet Lake resort road)

Event details...
Date: Sep 08 2013
Time: 4 Pm - 6 Pm
Activity: Cake cutting and games for aged specially.
Event started with SCF members opening an interactive session with aged inmates and explaining the importance of the day.

A cake cutting session with grand parents(aged inmates)
Followed by joy filled games.
Inmates were extremely happy, as many of our inmates are the helpless of streets, hence usually they are not used to have celebrations on them. Indeed this is the first time for few of the inmates to cut a cake in their life time.

We really Thank Saayam Cheddam Foundation for conducting such an event at SARAS and specially considering our inmates as their grand parents. This event gave good and fun moments to inmates, adding new energy in them and a momentum to home.(at this hard times)

We are not aware of the importance of Online presence before, hence we were not available.

But when we started to face financial crisis to run the home, few of our well-wishers suggested to have a website and hence came up with it an year and half back(March 2012):

There is yet to update the current status of the home, desperate situations and the support required for the home to with stand.

Though after website, home didn't seek much exposure/support and from the recent visit of an old well-wisher who explained the importance of being on Facebook and suggested to step in with a page for an effective spread which can get required support and will be a good practice to notify updates accordingly.

Understanding that our well-wishers can keep us tracked and tagged in, SARAS is here officially on Facebook finally.
We will try to keep the home needs and updates notified to the best possible from September 08, 2013.

Save All Reach All Society With an intention of helping the helpless, SARAS, a registered SOCIETY (Regd no: 1710/2006) was founded in the year 2008 by Mrs Suvartha .It is now a home for 110 people (50 elders, 50 children, 2 infants and 8 volunteers)
