Celebrating 70th .

INDEPENDENCE DAY.

looking forward if anybody has pics of the olden days which takes us to those sweet memories. Annual day functions, cricket tournaments, badminton tournaments, karate, Ganesh Chaturthi, drama competitions, Independence day celebrations, Republic day fancy dress etc.

I come from DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL., the school that taught me to love my country. the school that defined patriotism. the school that filled all my veins with patriotism. I love my school & I am proud of my country.
where are such schools now.
what's happening to the today's studies. more than half of the students doesn't even know why a Republic Day is celebrated, who is the father of the nation. today's pupil are made to be tomorrow's machines without a heart towards parents & mother land. the quality of education which can imbibe love towards the mother land is depriving. History is neglected.
I must salute our social teacher on this occasion, Mrs. Vijaya lakshmi who injected patriotism into our veins with her history lectures. Madam, wherever u are I bow u.
where are such teachers now.
why we are neglecting the sovereignty of our country. why terrorists like afzal guru who questioned the utmost sovereignty of Our country by attacking Parliament is supported openly in Universities. why terrorists like yaqub menon who is responsible for the Mumbai attacks is openly supported in the universities. what's happening to the so called scholars. is too much education is making them go maverick. The education system shoud seriously look into this. otherwise every school will have a khanaiah kumar.
Patriotism is not even seen in cricket. Who's playing for who's team. with the advent of IPL the essence of cricket is lost. the purpose of cricket is lost forever. now it is a money making business. unless the media stops calling the Indian cricket team as Dhoni's team or kohli's team nothing would change.
I am bearing Indian National Flag in solidarity to Patriotism. to show my support to my mother land. I request u all to do the same and show your love our country.
