Ichapore is a small town which lies about thirty kilometres north of Kolkata. Famous for its many ghats on the banks of the Ganges and the Rifle factory
Nawabganj, by the river, has one of the oldest residential buildings of the city. As the name implies, the Nawabs (local Kings) had their residence in this area.
