Under Special Campaign 6, the Department of Food and Public Distribution (DFPD) is promoting cleaner offices and better use of available space through the disposal of e-waste and obsolete items.

As on 19 October 2026, ₹1,076,262 in revenue was earned from disposal, and 22,653 sq. ft. of office space was freed.

राशन की दुकान पर लगी ePoS मशीन सिर्फ़ एक मशीन नहीं, राशन वितरण की प्रक्रिया का एक ज़रूरी हिस्सा है।

इसके जरिए लाभार्थी का प्रमाणीकरण किया जाता है और राशन वितरण की जानकारी दर्ज की जाती है। इससे सही लाभार्थी की पहचान करने और राशन सही लाभार्थी तक पहुँचाने में मदद मिलती है।

ONORC के तहत पात्र लाभार्थी देश के किसी भी हिस्से में किसी भी राशन की दुकान से अपना निर्धारित राशन प्राप्त कर सकते हैं।

यानी, राशन लेने के लिए किसी एक दुकान पर निर्भर रहने की जरूरत नहीं।
जहाँ आप हो, वहीं से अपना राशन लीजिए।
