The Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary was established in 1989 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
It is home to various kind of wildanimals n bird species
It has an ancient palace built by Holkars which was primarily used for hunting called "SHIKARGAH"

These are found all asian countries & can grow upto 8 inches - males r bigger than female with average lifespan of 4 yrs in wild & upto 10 yrs in captivity.they are for their , they can give birth upto 40,000 eggs per clutch n breeds 2 times in a yr
They are opportunistic predator & feed on
