Google Launches In-Page Analytics Feature:
Today, Google announced a beta feature called In-Page Analytics that
should allow people to stop juggling tabs or dealing with older, less
sophisticated tools.In-Page Analytics works as an overlay (indeed, it replaces Site
Overlay), allowing users to see data superimposed right over different
products or design elements.

Toshiba Corp and Sony Corp have announced their plans to sell the
factories that are producing the small LCD panel displays to their
rivals. This is done as part of the continuing realignment of their
liquid-crystal-display industry.

Two-factor authentication is something you have (e.g. a phone) and something you know (e.g. a password). It’s a Big Deal because if your
account or business has two-factor authentication, those accounts are
immediately less likely to be phished, hijacked, or otherwise abused.

Why Google is called Google ?
According to the founders of Google.com,they were thinking about a good
name, something that would relate to arranging and organizing large
amounts of data. It was mentioned that one of them said it would be
like ‘googolplex’. Googol was a term which referred to 1 followed by
100 zeros, a very large number. They had it shortened to ‘Googol’
instead.
They tried to search it over the domain name registry database and found
that it was available for use. However, one of the founders was not
that good at spelling, and typed ‘Google’ instead. Since then, they had
Google.com registered under Larry Page and Sergey Brin – the domain
name registration records show that the domain name was registered on
September 15, 1997.

Google Squared extracts structured data from across the web and presents its results in spreadsheet-like format.Each search query return a table of search results which has its own
set of columns - common attributes that are associated with the topic of
a search.Nathania Johnson of Search Engine Watch described Squared as "quite possibly ... one of Google's significant achievements".
