Institute of Management Studies (IMS) is the University Teaching Department of Devi Ahilya University, Indore specializing in Management Education. It offers various management course like Masters in Business Administration MBA, Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA)in several disciplines like(M.B.A. Financial Administration,M.B.A Marketing Management,M.B.A Electronic Commerce,M.B.A Hospital Ad
ministration,M.B.A Disaster Management,M.B.A. The institute was established in 1969 and was then called the Department of Business Administration. It is the oldest institute of the city that offering an MBA degree. Initially, the organization offered only a 'Distance Education' degree in business administration with three year duration. However, later the intake capacity was increased. Today it has more than 3000 students of various disciplines studying as a full-time or a part-time candidate. The institute is located within the university campus (Takshashila Campus) adjacent to Education Multimedia Research Center, near University's School of Law. The Takshashila Campus is at the outer part of Indore at Khandwa road. Facilities:-
1)12 well spaced lecture halls.
2)1 auditorium with seating capacity of 500 students.
3)1 library with textbooks on about 15000 topics, research bulletins, magazine and newspaper subscriptions, journals, theses etc.
4)1 computer lab with about 60 desktop machines and other computing equipment.
