But I always wanted to start manufacturing , import/export & Pan india marketing business activities . It was just a chance to create something new that in June 1994 our newly constructed house leakage started in , we tried numbers of products available in the market at that time to stop leakage but could not get success . I decided to develop my own product with that experience & knowledge of my father & I successfully developed a wonderful product and named it WPC-99 in February 1996 . Then I started marketing of product and also taking small works of waterproofing
After successful trials in my house, I decided to commercialize the product. I got over welling response in the local market & our product WPC-99 became synonymous to waterproofing. This success continued to give more & more products in the range of waterproofing & construction. . It was observed that user’s friendly, longer-lasting waterproofing compound was not available in the market at affordable price. We apprised the market and concentrated our R&D efforts, resulted in development of an unique waterproofing compound named "WPC-99". Subsequently we have developed innovative range of waterproofing chemicals, namely CAM-99, WTF-99, WAC-99, HPC-99 ….. more than 60 construction chemicals .The print / electronic media highly appreciated to our innovative products. Today my company ICO LTD. have our distribution network in 14 state of india & 4 country abroad. of India Ministry of MSME honoured us with Small Scale Entrepreneurs National Award-2006. I started civil projects business officially in 2006 , Initially I took the work from my neighbor and their relatives it gave me mouth publicity and created the future path of my business. Then I started small jobs of all types of civil repairing and maintainence work , like expansion joints – structural joints –common wall joints repairing, waterproofing of swimming pool , bathrooms, sunken portion of buildings and bungalow , duct & kitchen , overhead and underground water tank , washroom area of old and new civil structure etc. After sometime some good & skilled workmen joined my company and we made a good team of civil rehabilators . Today our company is well known for doing project work for tata group , Indian army, Steel authority of India, Mahindra & Mahindra and many more companies from government & private sector. We have become a reputed brand in construction chemicals in India and trying to fetch opportunities abroad . You know development of product may be simple thing but commercialization of technical services against multinational is toughest job of marketing . I am happy to let you know that my products & services are getting unbelievable response in construction & waterproofing industries. It is also my pleasure to let you know I am registered civil contractor for M.P. P.W.D. But this all could be achieved with the blessings of elders & relatives, good wishes of friends, hard work of my team & at last my better half , My wife Sapna. It’s a matter of great pride for our company, that our CEO & Director Mr. Deepak Bhandari was honoured with Entrepreneur of the year Award-2013. The Outstanding Achievement Awards-2013 of FMPCCI ,was held at Hotel Courtyard By Marriot , Bhopal on 15th March 2014 where Hon'ble Chief Minister of M.P. Shri Shivraj Singh ji Chouhan honoured him by the award.(Attached Photo). India SME Forum has declared M/S ICO CARE as one of the top 100 SMEs of 2014 in India. The award, which is in its second edition, received 63,819 nominations across the country. The event was Presanted by Hon. Lok Sabha speaker Sumitra Mahajan and Hon. Union Minister of micro, small and medium enterprises Kalraj Mishra With Chairperson & MD - Bank of India Mrs. V.R. Iyer & CEO , President of Reliance Capital Mr. K.V. Shrinivasan & Brand Guru Prahalad Kakkar. Our President & CEO Mr. DEEPAK BHANDARI accepted the award at a function held in Mumbai. On receiving the award, Bhandari said, “We have been in the business for the last 20 years and have won so many awards. I credit my team with their excellent work planning and execution skills and their mastery of disruptive innovation for helping us reach this level. I dedicate this award to the over 1 lakh satisfied customers who have kept supporting us year after year.”
Mr. Bhandari also was a part of the board of jury member for the national award by govt of india. Mr. Deepak Bhandari was also honoured with ‘ Skoch India’ National Award-2015 on 21st of March 2015 at Janpath, New Delhi .It must have been a tough journey to reach where our company have and to achieve what we have. The hard work came out shining through in our nomination for the Skoch Achiever Award 2015 and we are happy to inform you that we have reached another milestone in company life – being conferred the Skoch Order of Merit as one out of nearly 500,000 SME organizations in India.
