Ziro hosts comprehensive Industry Consultation Meet under PM-SETU.
The Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, successfully organised the State-Level Industry Consultation Meet under Pradhan Mantri Skilling and Employability Transformation through Upgraded ITIs (PM-SETU) on 15–16 September 2026 at Ziro, Lower Subansiri District, bringing together industry partners and key stakeholders to strengthen industry participation in the State’s ITI and skilling ecosystem.

The Meet was chaired by Shri Nyato Dukam, Hon’ble Minister, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, in the presence of Dr. Mohesh Chai, Advisor to the Hon’ble Minister, SDE; Ms. Bullo Mamu, IRS, Secretary, SDE; Shri Kamta Lapung, Convenor, Skill Development, BJP Cell; Shri Sibo Passing, Joint Secretary-cum-Director, SDE; Shri Gyati Kacho, Deputy Director, SDE; and Shri Swapndeep Chouhan, Deputy Director, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India.

Senior officials, representatives from NHPC, NEEPCO, SJVN, APIDFC, POWERGRID, NEDFi, and other industry partners also participated. The discussions focused on strengthening Government–Industry collaboration, transforming Government ITIs, and promoting industry-relevant training, modern infrastructure, apprenticeships and employment opportunities for a future-ready workforce.

We look forward to industry partners coming forward to support and partner with our Government ITIs. Together, we can equip the youth of Arunachal Pradesh with quality, industry-relevant skills and create stronger pathways to employment.
Together, let us transform our ITIs, empower our youth and build a skilled Arunachal Pradesh.

The Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of Arunachal Pradesh invites talented boys and girls aged 16–23 years to participate in the IndiaSkills 2026–27 Competition, featuring 63 skills across 36 States & UTs. This is an opportunity to showcase your talent, receive professional grooming and compete at the Regional, National and International levels, with the Regional Competition to be held in Guwahati and the journey leading to the international stage in Japan.
Interested youth are encouraged to register by 15 September 2026 and take their skills to a bigger platform. Your Skill Deserves the Spotlight!

🎉 WRAP-UP | ARUNACHAL FOOD & BEVERAGE CARNIVAL 2026 🍰✨
The Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, in collaboration with Mezang Baking Academy, successfully concluded the Arunachal Food & Beverage Carnival 2026, held from 5th to 7th September 2026 at the State Banquet Hall, Itanagar. The Carnival was inaugurated by Shri Pasang Dorjee Sona, Hon’ble Minister for Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, setting the stage for three days of skills, creativity, learning and entrepreneurship.

The concluding programme was graced by Dr. Mohesh Chai, Hon’ble Advisor to the Minister for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, as Chief Guest, along with officials from the Departments of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Industries, and Women & Child Development. The programme also witnessed the distribution of certificates and awards to participants and winners, recognising their skills, creativity and achievements. 🏆

Through masterclasses, live demonstrations, competitions and industry interactions, the Carnival brought together home bakers, food entrepreneurs, aspiring professionals and industry partners, providing valuable practical exposure, networking and business opportunities. The participation of OPUS Innovations, Kitchen Equipment, Godrej Enterprises, KAAPI Solutions, Fab Essence, Ossoro, and many others further enriched the platform through industry connect and exposure.

More such initiatives will continue to create opportunities for our youth to learn, connect, innovate and grow as entrepreneurs. 🌱🚀

The Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, in collaboration with M/s Puna Hinda Construction, is offering a Two-Month On-the-Job Training Programme, providing real-life, hands-on training on actual road construction earth moving machineries and equipment.

The training will cover areas such as Excavator Operator, Backhoe Loader Operator, Road Roller Operator, Motor Grader Operator, Paver Operator, Hydraulic Rock Breaker Operator, Bitumen Plant Operator, Batch Plant Operator, Infrastructure Equipment Mechanic, and Electrical/Hydraulic/Automobile/Mechanical works.
