TRIFED, Regional Office Rajasthan participated in the Gandhi Shilp Bazaar Exhibition, organised by the DCH Department at Urban Haat, Ajmer, from 12 to 18 November 2025.
The participation was aligned with the celebrations of Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, dedicated to honouring the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, whose contributions continue to illuminate the tribal identity and freedom struggle.
At the exhibition, TRIFED highlighted the creativity and skill of tribal artisans through a curated display of handcrafted products. The platform enabled meaningful engagement with visitors, strengthened market connections, and supported the larger mission of promoting sustainable livelihoods within tribal communities.

A “Tribal Corner” was inaugurated at Eklavya Model Residential School, Mallana, Rajasthan on November 15, 2025, on the occasion of Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, commemorating the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
The initiative was organised in collaboration with TRIFED, with the TRIFED Regional Office, Rajasthan supplying a diverse range of authentic tribal products to showcase the rich heritage, craftsmanship, and cultural identity of tribal communities.
The Tribal Corner aims to inspire students with the legacy of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, promote awareness of indigenous art forms, and encourage appreciation for tribal entrepreneurship and traditional knowledge.

Awareness Program cm Craft Demonstration | Dausa, Rajasthan (12–14 November 2025)
TRIFED (ट्राईफेड), Regional Office Rajasthan, in collaboration with the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, successfully organised an Awareness Program cm Craft Demonstration at Dausa from 12 to 14 November 2025.
The initiative aimed at disseminating knowledge about India’s rich tribal crafts, traditional lifestyle, vibrant culture, MFP, and various livelihood opportunities.
This program served as a meaningful platform to inspire the youth and future generations to embrace inclusivity, appreciate tribal heritage, and understand the importance of preserving indigenous skills and traditions.
The live craft demonstrations by tribal artisans highlighted their unique craftsmanship and celebrated the essence of tribal identity and creativity.
Together, we continue to empower tribal communities and promote their cultural legacy.
