This National Youth Day, we are celebrating the spirit of the Careleavers Inner Circle (CLiC) Forum Recently, our community of Careleavers in Kota came together for an impactful exposure visit that was about much more than just travel.

It was a day of:
Healing: Deep-dive sessions on Mental Health.
Sharing: Circle discussions where every voice mattered.
Connection: Group activities that turn strangers into family.

Today, we celebrate the power of youth to rewrite their own stories.

Today, Madhusudhan stands as a powerful example of what Human Rights Day represents the right to dignity, opportunity, and equal support.
Madhusudan from Jadol, Udaipur spent 16 years of his childhood in a Child Care Institution. Life pushed him into the system, but he refused to let the system define him. With quiet strength and determination, he completed his education and shaped his own path.

During a CLiC outreach visit, we met Madhusudan. His maturity, clarity, and deep understanding of care leaver challenges were impossible to miss. Seeing his leadership, he was chosen as the District Captain of Udaipur.

Now he is guiding care leavers across the district. He conducts life skills sessions, helps youth understand Aftercare, organizes meet-ups, and ensures that no care leaver feels alone in their journey.

His story reminds us that every young person deserves safety, respect, and a fair chance and when given that chance, they rise not only for themselves but for others too.

This Human Rights Day, we celebrate Madhusudan a leader, a changemaker, and a voice of hope for care leavers.

Young people aged 16 -18 carry heavy emotions especially those growing up in care.
CLiC x - An Initiative Of Aditya Birla Education Trust organised mental health sessions in Child homes of Kota to help them understand feelings, build resilience, and practice healthy coping.
Grateful to the Mpower team and our facilitators for creating such a safe space.

Children in Observation Homes often face one of the toughest phases of their lives legal uncertainty, emotional pressure, and fear about what their future will look like.

To support them at this crucial turning point, our CLiC team organised a career awareness and confidence-building session at the Observation Home, Jodhpur in collaboration with the Pratham Institute of Hospitality.

The session helped the boys explore:
• Skill development pathways
• Careers in hospitality
• How to prepare for life beyond the institution

We were grateful to have Mrs. Manmeet Kaur (Joint Director), JJB members, counsellors, and the Home staff join us and encourage the youth to think positively about their future.

Why this matters
Intervention before they exit the system is extremely important.
A little guidance at the right time can reduce vulnerability, prevent risk, and open pathways to dignity and opportunity.

This Diwali, we celebrate the light within our CLiC Forum our care leavers, team, and supporters who make every day brighter! 🪔
