Isar Lat-Victory Tower

Isar Lat was built by Sawai Ishwari Singh Ji,eldest son of the founder of the Jaipur city, Sawai Jai Singh II, in 1749 AD.

Isar Lat was built by Sawai Ishwari Singh Ji,eldest son of the founder of the Jaipur city, Sawai Jai Singh II, in 1749 A.D. to commemorate his winning the war of succession with his younger brother Sawai Madho Singh I. It is an octagonal shaped, seven story, 140 feet high tower. Located in the heart of the walled city, it commands breathtaking views of Jaipur. It is also called Swargasooli by the locals.
