New Delhi, September 4, 2026:
Shravak Pratikraman’ Video Released
A special highlight of the programme was the release of the Shravak Pratikraman video, prepared by the Jammu & Kashmir Unit of the Shri All India Shwetamber Sthanakwasi Jain Conference, ahead of the sacred Paryushan Mahaparva by Shri Atul Jain, National President, Dr. Amit Rai Jain, National General Secretary, and Shri Sandeep Jain ‘Sunny’ (Jammu), National Secretary along with youth and mahila Wing Presidents.
The video initiative was undertaken under the leadership and guidance of Smt. Monika Jain, National Executive Committee Member (Women’s Wing), along with members of the Jammu & Kashmir Jain Conference unit.
Monika Jain while releasing the video said that it seeks to present Shravak Pratikraman in an accessible and meaningful format, particularly for families and the younger generation. It aims to remind the community that Pratikraman is not merely a ritual of recitation, but a profound practice of self-introspection, acknowledgement of one's mistakes, repentance, forgiveness, restraint and a resolve for inner transformation.
The initiative was appreciated by the dignitaries and members present, who described it as a meaningful effort to connect the timeless Jain philosophy of क्षमा, आत्मावलोकन, संयम and आत्मशुद्धि with contemporary means of communication.
