Geographically it touches 3 states of India - Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. It not only caters to the historical and cultural centres of Bundelkhand and adjoining region, but also serves critical power plants and defence installations. It further provides century old strategic rail connectivity between Northern heartland and Western coast of India.
