Titabor Co-District Administration

Today, i.e on 27/10/2025 the Draft Electoral Rolls for 21 Borholla and 22 Bojalkata constituencies for the upcoming Sonowal Kachari Autonomous Council Election of Jorhat District has been published.

The Draft Electoral Rolls are available for public inspection at the office of the Electoral Registration Officer, 21-Borholla/22-Bojalkata, C/o Office of the Co-District Commissioner, Titabor, where electors may verify their names, Alternatively, voters can also check their names in the said draft voter list by clicking on the link http://ermssss.assam.gov.in using the EPIC number provided by the Election Commission of India.

Any claims and objections in connection with the Draft Electoral Roll may be submitted in Form 2, 3, or 4 to the Electoral Registration Officer, 21-Borholla/22-Bojalkata, C/o office of the Co-District Commissioner, Titabor, on or before 10.11.2025.

Today i.e on 27/10/2025, the Titabor Co-District Administration successfully organized the live screening and cheque distribution ceremony of the “Mukhyamantrir Nijut Moina Asoni 2.0”, a flagship initiative launched by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, from the Arjun Bhogeswar Baruah Sports Complex, Sarusajai Stadium, Guwahati.

The event was attended virtually by colleges and higher secondary schools across the state including that of Titabor Co-District. The event highlighted the scheme’s objectives and benefits, emphasizing its role in promoting girls’ education, preventing child marriage, and empowering young women to pursue higher studies with confidence.

The initiative reflects the Government of Assam’s commitment to building an educated, empowered, and self-reliant society by ensuring that every girl gets the opportunity to continue her education and achieve her dreams.

Today, i.e., on 27/10/2025, Pub Titabor Gaon Panchayat Samabay Samity Ltd. officially inaugurated a “Jana Aushadhi Kendra,” one of the key initiatives under the Central Sector Schemes in the Cooperative Sector of the Government of India.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Co-District Commissioner, Titabor, the Assistant Commissioner, Titabor; the Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Jorhat , Assistant Registrar, Titabor along with the officials of Samabai Samiti.

With the establishment of this Jana Aushadhi Kendra, the public will now have access to quality medicines at affordable prices, promoting better healthcare and welfare for the local community.

Today, i.e., on 27/10/2025, marking the commencement of Vigilance Awareness Week, a pledge-taking programme was organised at the office of the Co-District Commissioner, Titabor. The Assistant Commissioners, Titabor along with officials and staff, participated in the event and took the Integrity Pledge to uphold the values of transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct in public service.

In addition, all line departments under Titabor Co-District also organised pledge-taking programmes in their respective offices to mark the occasion.

The observance of Vigilance Awareness Week aims to foster integrity in public administration and promote collective efforts towards building a transparent and corruption-free society.

Today, i.e., on 26/10/2025, the Circle Officer, Titabor Revenue Circle visited various Chhath Puja ghats under Titabor Co-District to review the preparations.

The works were found to be progressing smoothly with satisfactory arrangements in place. It was also observed that the water level in rivers and ponds remains low, and necessary measures are being taken to ensure smooth observance of the festival.

Today, i.e. on 25/10/2025, the Chief Executive Member, Thengal Kachari Autonomous Council, Titabor, along with the Assistant Commissioner, Titabor, inspected the ongoing construction works of the Sri Sri Kamalabari Satra Infrastructure Development Project being implemented under the Untied Fund. The progress of the project was found to be satisfactory.

Today i.e on 25/10/2025, the lifting process of subsidised Masur Dal, Sugar, and Salt was successfully carried out for Titabor at the ASWC Godown, Chenijan, Jorhat, under the supervision of FPD&CA officials of Titabor Co-District.

This initiative ensured the timely distribution of essential commodities to beneficiaries under various government schemes.

It is for information of all NFSA card holders that starting November 2025, the Government of Assam will be distributing Masor Dal at a subsidised rate of Rs 69 , Sugar at a subsidised rate of Rs 37 and Salt at subsidised rate of Rs 10 through the Fair Price Shops.

Today, i.e. on 25/10/2025, an Awareness-cum Anti-Rabies Vaccination Camp was held at State Veterinary Dispensary, Borholla by the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Department under Titabor Co-District.

A total of 36 dogs and cats were vaccinated, promoting awareness for a healthier and safer community.

At the Government Sericulture Farm, Titabor, the Mulberry Autumn crop and Muga rearing activities are currently underway for basic seed multiplication — a key step in strengthening the region’s sericulture sector.

Today i.e on 24/10/2025, the Co-District Commissioner, Titabor, visited the institute to review the ongoing work and appreciated the dedicated efforts of the officials and staff towards promoting sustainable silk production in the region.

Today i.e on 17/10/2025, a meeting was held in the office of the Co-District Commissioner, Titabor, regarding the upcoming Kali Puja and Chhath Puja celebrations in the Titabor Co-District. The meeting focused on ensuring peaceful and orderly festivities, discussing necessary security arrangements, and promoting active community participation.

The meeting was attended by the Co-District Commissioner, Titabor, Circle Officer, Titabor Revenue Circle, Assistant Commissioners, Titabor , heads of various line departments, and Presidents and Secretaries of Kali Puja and Chhath Puja committees from across the Titabor Co-District, reflecting a coordinated and collaborative effort towards ensuring safe and successful celebrations.
